I know, I've researched everything. I thought about it after I had posted. So I might no be banned although. Not matter what I do nothing works to fix my error code. I am for sure connected to the interent as it shows up blue in the left hand corner and I can't even acess the internet. I even tried setting up the manual connection stuff.
This only happened after updating emunand and my 3ds restarted and now I'm screwed since I didn't downgrade to 4.5 I have no way of getting to gateway mod to even attempt to fix this

I don't actually know since I tried going online in pokemon and I csnt since my stuff isn't up to date since I'm on 7.9 because of gateway. So I don't want to update anything but what I do know is I can't access Web browser.

Can you access your friend list? If you access your friend list and receive a message saying something, then you sure was banned..
Did you try to delete all you wi fi connections and tryed to connect it again? (Sure you did, but...)

Yes I already read that thread and unfortunately none of thst helped me.
I've tried deleting the connection and re making it 4 times.
I can acess my friends list but I have no friends entered so I don't really see much.
Try making a backup of your emunand using EmunandTool then creating a new emunand via gateway menu.
Not sure which part of the firmware would control online access exactly or i'd just link you the Title ID / Title Version.
If you create a new emunand and you can then go online with your games, then you know something went wrong during the update process & just do it again.
Only problem with this is I'm not on the 4.5 firmware exploit so I need the Web browser to even acess the gateway menu.
I have a backup of my nand.bin but not a backup of my emunand. I'm kicking myself in the add because I was debating whether or not to downgrade to 4.5 and.now I'm screwed :/
one thing for sure is something went wrong with emunand.
Basically everything appeared to have worked as normal. I then updated emunand via system settings and when the 3ds restarted I then could no longer acess the Web browser, thus making it not possible to even acess gateway to even fix anything :/
So now I'm on systemnand 7.2 and screwed.
I'm going to get a copy of ssb because It force firmware updates so hopefully that will fix this issue.

Ah, my mistake. So you're having a Sysnand issue, not emu. Updating emunand correctly doesn't touch the Sysnand at all. Did you install this update some time ago via the built in updater or something? If so sounds like you went into settings in the emunand then backed out taking you back to Sysnand & from there updated.
While I'm not certain, I'm inclined to agree.
I'll make it easy for you. If you use a private header you're as safe as you can be (while still going online of course).
So because YOU haven't been banned yet, means that public headers are safe? Look at page one. Every. Single. Person. who was banned was using a public header at one point or another. That is the common variable. Public headers are NOT safe. That doesn't mean you WILL get banned, it just means that you COULD be banned. You can't put up your anecdotal evidence that you weren't banned and then ignore the fact that everyone who was banned used public headers.
For example, my 360 was poorly modded and I ignore all the checks to protect myself (I don't use the best discs for example). I haven't been banned yet, but I could be any day now (I don't really care but that's not the point). You don't see me telling everyone that what I'm doing is completely safe. I, like you with your 3DS, have just been lucky.
Now... I'll say it again to people who haven't read all 163 pages.
If you want to go online safely, use .cia files or private headers. If you use a public header you are putting yourself at more risk than is necessary.
No my systemnand be er updated still on 7 2 like when I was using my gateway card. Like i said I installed emunand then updated it Via the system settings then the system did it's usual reboot. Then after rebooting it goes to systemnand as usual except now I can't acess the internet.
I did Initially think I was banned at first. But now I don't think so because there are too many differences. Anyways now I have no way of getting in to gateway mode since it uses the internet for the exploit.
Then I was mistaken again!
Anyway, why don't you try logging into your router and Releasing then Renewing DHCP or just dropping the 3ds from the ip log. Might be a conflicting ip causing it to not connect?

Hmm ok but, (sorry to ask this again) I injected my private header to sky3ds template. all my games have my header in the .sav files but just one dont. On Animal crossing the .sav file has a public header... then if I connect this game online, will I be banned?

You'll need to lookup information on your router. Most access points for your router are 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 but you'll also need the User / PW. It'd be best to google for a guide on whatever you use.
Idk if it'll solve your problem, but its worth a shot.

look under your router. usually there is information there. you can reset and configure the network again (in case you do not know or dont remember the user and password to access it.
so nothing has worked regarding manually setting up a connection.

so i connected my ds to my mobile hotspot on my phone just to make sure it wasn't the connection.
so my ds would show up as being connected to my hotspot but then when i go to the web browser on my ds it kicks itself off whatever connection it was using. my phone would show it was no longer connected. this is so weird i seriously don't know what else to do.
also in friend list i am online so i guess i'm not banned.
