    Thats what I was figuring. But it happened so randomly. For now some thin paper seems to help them a lot but yea it makes them feel really stiff in it. I know it won't break but, damn.

    I'm guessing their really is a grace period. Because yesterday I could do everything on 4.1 still. Unless they did this specifically because Kirby released.

    It was letting me update yesterdat, today it tells me I need a firmware update. No idea what changed, but I updated Zelda, Odyssey, and ARMS without an issue. Today it gives me the message.

    Some people like me can still update their games while on 4.1. I updated 3 games yesterday. Switch is weird. Spoke too soon. I can't download updates for games anymore. My Switch fixed itself.

    Hopefully my Splatoon 2 expansion will download as an update. Thus far my Switch has downloaded updates on 4.1 still just fine while 5.0 is out.

    Did you try pressing + and clicking check for update? I've updated all my games on 4.1.0 yesterday without updating firmware.

    You can put in the blocker DNS and still update physical games. But you can't play online.

    I'm using the update block DNS and my games are still able to download updates. Too bad you can't cancel and go physical.

    Cool, thanks. I noticed I can just download updates for games without updating still. I thought in the past you had to do a trick but it's letting me update just fine from the options menu of each game. So unless Nintendo somehow changes this requirement to update games, nothing can stop me...
