    The motherboard could be fried at some place. The whole system is working except the sdcard so maybe there is a solution to that. My question was what should be tested on the mother if eventually there is/are a short circuit(s) ? I Need you electronic specialist please !!!

    May be I didn't explaining it well. The sd card reader in regular 3ds is on the top of a piece of metal that hide the nand. To remove the sdcard there is two things to do: 1- remove the nap 2- force a little bit the reader from the piece of metal (beacause is stuck with glue) When you do that...

    There is no solding to do. You just pull off the nap. I did change the sdcard. Am I misunderstanding you ?

    Yeah sure all of the cards tested on the faulty one are working fine on the other one. For info my two 3ds are regular not XL. The sdcard is easy to remove there no solding manipulation to do.
