    Gaming Please help with Brawl burning

    I burnt it 3 times (D2Pro btw) with imgburn at 4x on Sony DVD+R DL 8.5gb but I put the disc in my Wii and it doesn't even bother to SPIN! However, the retail copy works as a friend brought it over. Geometry Wars burnt copy works fine, but when I put Brawl in it doesn't spin, just DRE.

    When I put a copy of Brawl in burnt at 4x in ImgBurn onto a Sony DVD+R DL 8.5 gig, it doesn't even spin! Is this normal because I'm burning another copy. Using D2pro on a d2c drive. Single layer games and BLANK DL DVDs spin.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
