Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

I was actually able to fix it! Reinstalled the chip with better wiring, replaced resistors on CMD and DAT0 lines with 100 Ohm ones, which fixed the slow eMMC warnings, and performed NAND rebuild which fixed the pkg1 error.

It doesn't boot emummc, see the photos I've attached to my original post, that package1 error.

Guess it's a paperweight now. Uninstalled the chip, the console doesn't show anything on the screen when I press Power button or insert the charger.

Switch OLED issues with modchip, blue screen without

So in the end I got another Switch OLED and modded it with no problem at all. I used a recommended DAT0 adapter this time and took 3.3V from it. Tried to reflow the APU on the broken Switch. This was the second time in my life I tried to do a chip reflow which went surprisingly well. It took a...

Picostation - A PSX ODE based on the Raspberry Pi Pico!!

I’ve built the board and after a lot of tries was able to boot Castlevania once. This project has a long way to go but I can’t remember when was the last time I was so excited to see the game booting into the main menu 😂

Hardware Oldies [SOLVED] Need help with green screen on SNES after recap

So I thought that maybe some pin on a certain chip got disconnected while I was working on the board, and decided to reflow all the pins on every chip one by one. That didn't help, it didn't make thing worse either. After trying to turn on the board several times I gave up and put it aside...

Hardware Oldies [SOLVED] Need help with green screen on SNES after recap

You mean C58? C17 definitely should be soldered to the board. I was recording a video of the process, so I have checked that all the capacitors are where they should be after recap.

Hardware Oldies [SOLVED] Need help with green screen on SNES after recap

Yes, I saw that list of possible faults. The only chip I worked near is U8 (CIC) and it seems to work since the games are able to boot. I also checked the rest of the chips but all of them look fine, and I have newer touched them with soldering iron. The 62 pin connector seems to also be fine...

Hardware Oldies [SOLVED] Need help with green screen on SNES after recap

I have an NTSC SNES model SNS-CPU-RGB-02. I got a set of capacitors from console5 and performed a recap. All went well but when I assembled the console it only shows a completely green screen: I can hear startup sound in games but the picture doesn't change. I checked the polarity of each...
