ROM Hack Animal Crossing: New Leaf Save Editor

Is it no longer allowed to place lost items in your inventory or anywhere in the town? The editor no longer allows me to place them.

Well, that's a shame. I'll just have to reset it back to my default beach. Thanks for the explanation.

Also, when I moved the island storage box, the dock moved but not Kapp'n's boat. Is there a way to fix this?

ROM Hack Animal Crossing: New Leaf Save Editor

Hi. This question doesn't exactly deal with the editor, but recently I tried changing the size of my mayor's house and it corrupted the file. I made sure to use the new welcome amiibo house size blocks, and edited it used HxD. Not exactly sure what went wrong. If it helps, every single one of my...

Homebrew [Release]JK's SaveManager - Homebrew CIA Save manager.

Hi; I'm using oothax and i'm trying to use the save manager, but when I select a game to export, the same thing happens as it did before, but when I get the green screen, it changes to a dark yellow color and freezes. I've tested it with animal crossing, pokemon moon, and ocarina of time, but...

So, how exactly do I get the garden_plus.dat file? When I run homebrew and select the save manager, it says "Missing target title" Sorry if i'm missing something simple, this is my first time using homebrew

Can villagers wear long sleeve shirts, Gracie clothes, or clothes not with the word "shirt" but with long sleeves (ex. the kid's smock, military uniform, ect.)

Is it possible to still ram dump instead of getting the garden.dat files? I use HxD and the coding is entirely different and stuff isnt in the same place anymore.

Does anyone know the hex value/location of the basic tee? The shirt's number is 00000001, but I still can't find it.

Yeah, I guess so. In the meantime, i'm waiting for someone to upload a decent tutorial on how to use cafiine in splatoon. I can't find a good explanation anywhere and it makes me afraid to use it.

The colorizer is still unsafe, huh? I don't even understand why they ban people using it. I wish I knew about it before they started patrolling

So, I got a camper to move in (Villager 8, Shari), but on her move-in date, her house isn't in my town. Her name isn't even in the list of villagers! When I go into the editor, however, she's still there along with the original location of her house. I did do I bit of town editing between when...

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

    but that's a long shot
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i think only the red mario kart edition phat was v5
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
