    It will only abuse open hotspots for spot pass, otherwise it will only connect to defined hotspots.

    I used it all the time, and now that there's a dock it'd be even more useful. I have tried getting to the DS emulator to get an alarm clock going, but it seems all we can do is use homebrew to do it.

    If a new firmware kills the flashcards, there will be an update of the flashcards to make them work again.

    You can delete the title out of your software library if necessary, additionally you can format the system which will remove the daily gameplay statistics. Although I'm sure Nintendo will find a way to block the cart a few times before they give up.

    A single dead pixel on the upper display is incredibly noticeable in 3D mode. I'd get it replaced.

    New extension would be .n3ds most likely, .3ds is used for 3DS Max.

    Not a plain one. A anti-reflective (defractive or matte) one would probably ruin the 3D effect greatly though.

    You mean packet sniffing, port scan involves probing a machine for open ports, which has nothing to do with intercepting traffic.

    Like always, I've already pre-ordered the system. If games can't be pirated, so be it.

    You can get it most places with a free game (ubisoft) at the moment. For a while back there DSE had it up for $298 with a free game, not too shabby. The fact that Nintendo included region-locking is probably good considering it will give the morally inclined hackers of the scene a good reason...
