I purchased a Japanese 3DSXL but was unable to read the prompts (I had to use the Google Translate app, lol) and so I wanted everything to be in English, hence the CTRTransfer from JPN to USA. 1690852262 Looks like the issue was Nintendo having the servers under maintenance until 6:00 PM PST...- Koragi385

TL:DR - Bought a Japanese New 3DSXL, installed CFW using 3ds hacks guide, and then did a region change. The system is unable to update, even with DNS settings set to "Auto". Not sure if this is an actual issue, though. If it is not, I won't bother trying to update and will just start installing...- Koragi385

That's actually a really smart idea. Thanks for the suggestion! I took the long route and just grabbed all of the crafting materials and started building and upgrading every item. lol- Koragi385

I've been looking over these multiple pages of info / questions and I don't yet see an answer to the one about Insect Glaives and how the Insects are not showing as part of the weapons that are imported w/ the APM Save Editor. The weapons pop in just fine, but you cannot level up a Kinsect after...- Koragi385
