Its strange to hear that ntag215 can only be written to once. I thought the memory in the actual amiibo's could be cleared out and reset? I've done this on Wii U and Switch I believe a few times.
I'll check out NFC Tools, thanks.
EDIT: Also, how do you mess up a tag? Move it around too much...
It would be cool if this app could emulate an NTAG215 so I could just touch my phone to the Switch Pro controller.
NTAG215 is surprisingly pricey for a roll of them if I don't want to wait for months getting something shipped from China.
The app is immediately crashing when I select "write tag auto"
Galaxy S4, Android 5.0.1
I've tried 2.3.2, 2.3.3, and 2.3.4Beta
EDIT: Okay I got this working with the masterchan777 forks listed above. Used app-fat-armabi-v7a-debug.apk
Looks like the ntag's I had lying around aren't NTAG215...
What kind of file system is the Wii U? It can't be FAT32. To store files larger than 4GB you need NTFS. And NTFS is notorious for constantly reading/writing to the drive. If Nintendo recommends against it, then that would make sense considering the type of file system needed.
Assassin's...
There isn't a sticky on this where people recommend the best drives out there. A bit confused why that is?
Anywho...which of these is the fastest and makes the most sense without wasting money?
- SSD? Does a USB 2.0 bottleneck exist making this a waste to invest in?
- HDD? 7200 spin...10,000...
grrr, that is too much info...makes my eyes bug out.
I'm sure I don't need to do that bannerbomb stuff. I've also installed some IOS stuff in the past. Do I really need to go through and individually install 22 IOS's? What a pain. I thought custom ios installer 2.2 does this for you?
EDIT...
edit: oops bad grammar subtitle.
Sorry, all this terminology is confusing me big time. I just really want to make sure I do this right and posting in a 100 page sticky doesn't make me feel safe.
- So I am currently running 4.0U. I have the latest HBC auto-installed already.
- I haven't been...
Hi guys.
I'd like to get to 4.2 and make sure I do this right.
(Currently to play NSMBWii I've just been running it thru Gecko)
I'm on 4.0U (can't remember if that was an official download or a waninkoko hack or something) Haven't really kept up on the Wii scene and was wondering if someone...
Hi. I purchased Madworld and I am on firmware 3.3...apparently it wants me to update to 3.4? It just says System Update in the Disc Channel.
Is this safe to do without screwing up my hbc and anything else installed?
Sorry if this has been asked before...
