Homebrew Moving the Homebrew Launcher from external HDD to system memory for CBHC

You are absolutely correct, "-3" appears in the upper left-hand corner of the screen! :) Thanks for sticking around and helping out! I'll remove the HBL from settings and install Haxchi/CBHC as per the guide.

Homebrew Moving the Homebrew Launcher from external HDD to system memory for CBHC

A-ha! The HBL was listed as being around 90MB. Does that mean that it is somehow installed over the DS VC game, or am I grossly misunderstanding?

Homebrew Moving the Homebrew Launcher from external HDD to system memory for CBHC

If it is any help, pressing the Home button in the HBL returns me to Mii Maker (though I think that's normal?) Also, I just remembered that I used to use the 'Brazilian Method' (I think it was called) back in 2016, so maybe that has to do something with it. Also, could you tell me more about...

Homebrew Moving the Homebrew Launcher from external HDD to system memory for CBHC

The HBL is its separate channel on the home screen, no browser involved. It was initially on the external HDD but I moved it onto the system memory.

Homebrew Moving the Homebrew Launcher from external HDD to system memory for CBHC

So I just moved the HBL from the external drive to system memory, disconnected the external HDD, rebooted the console, and the HBL works just fine. However, I am absolutely positive that I don't have CBHC installed, as I need to run a CFW (Mocha in my case) from the Homebrew Launcher when I want...

Homebrew Moving the Homebrew Launcher from external HDD to system memory for CBHC

Hey, thanks for the reply! I'm doing something incredibly stupid, apparently. I modded my Wii U years ago following the hacking guide and I don't really remember anything lol. I was pretty sure that I had installed Haxchi over Brain Training, but I can neither find Haxchi, nor Brain Training DS...

Homebrew Moving the Homebrew Launcher from external HDD to system memory for CBHC

Some years ago, when I first modded my Wii U, I installed the HB Channel on my external HDD, instead of the console's system memory (for whatever reason). I used Haxchi so I guess I must have installed the DS VC game onto the external hard drive. Anyway, I want to do CBHC now but I'm not sure...

Hacking Rock Band instruments and USB Loader GX

So I'm trying to connect my RB2 guitar, but no dice. I searched online and changed between v10 beta52 and beta53-alt and managed to get the guitar connected to the dongle on beta53 (otherwise the dongle wouldn't even blink), but the game still doesn't recognize the controller. Any tips on how to...

Homebrew Moving Haxchi from external HDD to system memory for CBHC?

Hi, sorry for the late reply but how do I do this? Do I delete Homebrew Launched from Data Management? Will this leave me with the DS VC game, or do I have to install that again? Sorry, a bit of a noob here.

Homebrew Moving Haxchi from external HDD to system memory for CBHC?

So I have Haxchi installed on my external HDD (don't know why I installed the DS VC title on the external drive when I did) and am wondering whether there's an easy way to move it to system memory for CBHC. Any help is appreciated!

Hacking CFW won't boot after changing SD cards

I don't have an "EMUNAND VIRTUAL" folder, so I guess that means I don't have an emunand and I don't need to do this step?

Hacking CFW won't boot after changing SD cards

Backing up sysnand rn, should I backup emunand as well? I just want to have everything backed up, in case something like this happens again.

Hacking CFW won't boot after changing SD cards

Oh sorry, didn't realise this was outlined in the "Finalizing" section of the guide, I was still on "A9LH to B9S" lol. Alright, I'll follow the instructions and get back to you. Thanks for the help so far!
