It is fixable. Where are you located?
The via is still there, so its easy to fix. I'm located in Indiana.
Here is a lot of my work: https://citrus3000psi.imgur.com/all/
I can already predict there is going to be a lot of burned motherboards if this TX solution requires soldering. Soldering is easy, but also requires experience. We have no idea if soldering will be required or what needs to be soldered. If there are some nice easy test pads then yeah, most...
I got this error or some type of error trying to flash through the web browser. I connected with socat and run the commands directly through the console. That worked for me. I've posted links to the info more in the beginning of this thread. I did the setup on this thing a long time ago.
1. sd card goes in zsun
2. connect to the zsun access point.
3. that is a url, put it in a web browser.
4. open up my computer and go to \\10.168.168.1 in the address/location bar. That is how you get to SMB shares.
1. Just go to the link, thats it.
2. In windows 10. Click the start button, and just start typing \\10.168.168.1 Then create a directory called '.update.' (no single quotes, period at the end is required), Copy firmware over to this new directory you created
3. Just go the link, thats it...
Maybe I should do a hardmod. I've got a few teensys laying around. There are also solder points on the board which is 10x easier than soldering to nand legs. Here's my work on a permanent teensy install on b01 ps3.
Just letting the person know that 256gb cards come out next month. I'm not saying he's wrong in statement because he's exactly right. Hence why I put "fyi"
You can just do a lot more things with open-wrt, like install php etc, change wifi config easily etc.
If you aren't familer with tftp (I am from my cisco days) you can setup the samba share on the device. Copy the files to the sd card, and then move the files to correct www directory on the...
Nope...
Different note, you actually don't have to flash the device at all. It runs a webserver by default, just tftp the needed www files for the wiiu and call it a day.
I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one
I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version
@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!
I really would like to make a hack that I would enjoy playing, and maybe other people would too. swapping to the EU version would also mean my US friends could not legally play it
I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
do y'all think having an sd card that has a write speed of 700kb/s is a bad idea?
trying to restore emunand rn but it's taking ages... (also when I finished the first time hekate decided to delete all my fucking files )
@The Real Jdbye it hasn't given me any error trying to write things on it so I don't really think it's faulty (pasted 40/50gb+ folders and no write errors)
