Hacking Finding the right flash chip to replace the rom in a legit cart?

Out of curiosity, how could this video about 20 year old cartridges become outdated?

I've seen tutorials for that if you're still interested.

Loading SNES games off a Gameboy cartridge?

I found 137396 bytes of identical data at these addresses start end GB 0004C51C 0004F9BB SNES 0002AC68 0002E107 Curiously 137kb is too big to fit in RAM.

Loading SNES games off a Gameboy cartridge?

I tried to do that, but I don't personally have a good enough understanding to reverse engineer this.

Loading SNES games off a Gameboy cartridge?

I disagree. Most SGB games run GB code on the SGB processor with some enhancements that use SNES hardware. Space Invaders happens to be the only Gameboy game that contains a game mode entirely programmed for the SNES. It may not be "the" SNES ROM for Space Invaders but it is a SNES ROM for Space...

So this version of Space Invaders is 16-bit SNES code running on a SNES CPU.

See here: "it is possible to write program code or data into SNES memory, and to execute such program code by using the SNES CPU."

Loading SNES games off a Gameboy cartridge?

What do you mean by that? This version does run directly on the SNES processor and not on the SGB. To my knowledge your speculation is spot on. I suppose there aren't any commercial SNES games that are small enough to fit in RAM, but I'm still interested in loading SNES demos this way.

Loading SNES games off a Gameboy cartridge?

Yes, kind of. I'm asking if a GB flash cart could be used as a SNES flash cart. I'm asking this mostly out of curiosity, to know if this is theoretically possible. No, my question is not about emulation. I am asking about the SNES reading SNES code from the SBG, as with Space Invaders.

Loading SNES games off a Gameboy cartridge?

Gameboy cartridges can be played on a SNES using the Super Gameboy, and sometimes include additional features when doing so. There has been a GB cartridge which contains an entire SNES game (Space Invaders). My question is: could it be possible to take an existing SNES rom hack, wrap it in GB...

Pokemon Crystal (3ds VC) Save Question

So you've loaded your save from your 3DS into an emulator, and you want to cheat to get the Celebi event and then put the save back on the 3DS? I don't see a reason this wouldn't work. Don't forget to back up your save file just in case.

Hardware Wii U Gamepad Input Problems in Wii Mode

Having this problem too. Only in Wii injects, the gamepad stick goes right when I hold it left. Edit: fixed by cleaning (blowing into) the stick, but I thought the software is supposed to compensate for that.
