    There used to be a way to use gateway as a plug-in... Is that no longer applicable? I haven't touched my gateway in forever. EDIT: disregard, just saw the tutorial saying it requires 11.2 which is what TC asked about.

    You can download a CIA of the transfer tool as well. Once opened it doesn't need to link to NNID from my testing on a region changed system that was also banned.

    Well I can always backup the save, that's no big deal. I meant start over on the switch if I can't transfer. I just figured if anyone did it with the JPN version they may know if it requires an up to date firmware, or if it did at the time.

    Yeah it was more of a situation where I just got the hacks while using my primary, and never removed it. The system has been turned off for months, anyway. I'll probably factory reset and just create a dummy account. Thanks!

    Here's my (long-term) plan: don't hack it until I can afford a new, likely updated hardware switch. Transfer original content to new switch to maintain Nintendo Account and purchases. Then hack the other switch for emulator/Homebrew use without worrying about banning.

    I've been getting the "unable to start NIMS" error for a long time, thru multiple forks. It's a region changed 3ds so that may be the issue, but any ideas? I also can't sleep install it seems like.

    It wound up working with SSID as attwifi, not NZ@McD1 like it used to. No idea when that changed, but it was working ok again.
