So I noticed on the NFO theme that the site's size is listed as 56000 MBits, which is exactly 7 GB.

Is this accurate or just a number chosen at random? I find it hard to believe that the entire site only weighs 7 gigabytes, unless attachments don't count towards this total.

Probably random hacker number, although forums used to be very lightweight back in the day, GBAtemp’s size is probably atleast 2tb nowadays...

Back in the day GBAtemp thought it was quite large in size at 56000 MBits. But now that all the other sites have matured GBAtemp feels quite inadequate in size.

There have been conversations on sizes at times (usually when having to take backups, migrate, download backups...) though I have not seen any recently and after that last time (I still maintain it was hilarious) they don't allow me access to the database.

Though more generally "looks like dial up bulletin board and you were not thinking 56k aka 56000 if doing it simple (let's skip the 1024 vs 1000 debate)?

check your emails, I often get offers for suplements to help with that (allthough I do not have a need for those, so I can't verify if they work or not)
