Search for lan-play if you want to play online
I dont know about firmware version but I dont think that the last one is necessary. Just make sure you have the game updated, last amtosphere and ldn_mitm kip. And one last thing, inside the game do not go to Online, you need to select LAN modeDoes Lan-Play requiere latest firmware of the console to work? Could you please point me in the direction of a good tutorial or something? I checked the page and I have tried LANPLAY on my banned Switch but, when I try to connect it says that the online services have been restricted etc.
Thanks
I would like to get monster hunter rise for switch since I heard that it's an amazing game. However. My switch is banned and can't play online. Is it still worth it for single player? Can I still do everything in the game ?
Not really the case in Rise. Monsters scale to players. Heck, I've found it easier to play solo hub.You CAN play the hub quests offline but you'll be going up against monsters that are meant for 4 man parties.
is really worthed no need for onlen, its just additional featureI would like to get monster hunter rise for switch since I heard that it's an amazing game. However. My switch is banned and can't play online. Is it still worth it for single player? Can I still do everything in the game ?

I mean I'm 110 hours in, have done every quest, and I'm running a pretty optimal DB set. Solo means monsters target only you, making the fight more predictable, and eliminates the possibility of, like you said, random carting. In my time playing, I've had maybe three quests last more than 15 minutes. Hunts very rarely go on longer than 10 minutes, and it's usually a similar completion time regardless of the player count for me at least. To really evaluate this kind of claim, we'd need to see how many hours you have and what kind of gear you've got.
MP scales, and the monster's base HP is very high even in solo mode. It was built around the idea that multiple people were going to stun a monster, debuff a monster, ride a monster, and all kinds of other antics--leading to relatively faster completion of the quest, and in a more exciting kind of experience.
What exactly makes it "easier" to play solo hub? Are you pairing up with people who cart when you do MP?

Solo is just simpler I guess? Don't get me wrong, multi is fun, but it doesn't feel like it has half as much of an impact as it did in previous games. The HP scaling just feels a bit too well done to the point where there's no real advantage outside of strategic part breaking.
My first question would be, have you played other MH games in the past and enjoyed them? I only ask because if not, you very well might not even enjoy the game. Imo it's a very niche franchise. I've tried several of them throughout the years and have very much disliked every single one. Just for starters I feel they are boring, clunky ass games with poor monster animations and combat. Opinion, naturally. If you've played others and liked them... go for it.
