Hello guys. I am new to this CFW on switch stuff. I've been trying to get hetake to recognise my sd card but it keeps throwing NOFAT Error 13. I can verify that the sd card is working and switch can read it. I've also tried to format the card with TegraExplorer but when i check the partitions nothing was changed. Can someone help me on what am I doing wrong?

My SD card is SDXC 64GB

EDIT: The TegraEplorer even says "Partitioning SD.. Done!" Yet again, nothing is there

I don't know what are the benefits in using emuMMC.

Yes, I also tried different micro sd cards and no luck

EDIT: I might as well metion that presing on the spot where sd reader is located stright up stops it from being detected, if that has any relevance to the issue.

If I'm just upgrading my micro SD card to a bigger one is it just a case of copying everything from the smaller one over to the formatted bigger one? No other steps involved?

I have a problem, I tried to update atmosphere and hetake, after installing atmosphere 10.3 and hetake 5.1.2, I launched the CFW but the screen showed:
''Failed to apply 'nosigchk' ''
''Failed to lauch HOS!''

I would like to know what to do in order to launch the CFW.

So for safety I want to check if I have the process to setup EmuMMC on a cfw switch correctly.

My switch has been using Atmosphere without EmuMMC before, so;

1. Factory Reset (while offline)
2. Partition MicroSD in half for eMMC / EmuMMC
3. Boot into Hekate
4. Restore eMMC using my clean backup
5. Update eMMC to latest
6. Delete Wifi Profiles
7. Boot back into hekate
8. Create EmuMMC from eMMC
9. Factory Reset EmuMMC (offline)

It's been awhile since I updated my switch so was looking for some advice. Currently I use just atmosphere but was wondering about creating EmuMMC since I don't have one. I have a 120GB SD is it big enough?

I have right now 8.1.0, so what would be the best way to go about things?

Can I backup my installed games and saves if I create EmuMMC ?
I read about a Freeshop, do I need to use Incognito for this ?
If I remember rightly my keys are quite old (before SEPT for sure), should I use lockpick to get them or do they always stay the same?

It sounds like your SD card reader slot is broken so it needs to be replaced/

Yes just try launching the eShop to check if you are banned.

Why restore the eMMC before setting up emuMMC? In my opinion, you should restore the eMMC after setting up emuMMC.

emuMMC requires a minimum of 32 GB of free space on your SD card. Personally, I recommend using SX OS to partition the SD card for you then use the migrate emuMMC option in Hekate.

emuMMC initially is just a copy of sysMMC so whatever games are installed and saves are stored will be carried over. Freeshop has been dead on the Switch. While your keys might be outdated, unless you actively use them, there is no need to redump them.

Anyone been banned for doing something like this?
Lets say you were on 9.0.1 using your stock sysNAND, no custom firmware.
Then you upgrade to 9.2.0 using nintendos servers on the stock sysNAND.
Then you restore to a 9.0.1 clean nand backup using hekate.
Then you upgrade from the 9.0.1 clean backup, back to 9.2.0 using nintendo servers.
Anyone been banned from doing something like this?

Need help!!! SXOS and reinx doesnt load past the cfw logo, but atmosphere and OFW works fine. Ive tried a few different sd card and fresh files, and tried exfat and fat32. Also tried the sd cards in a different switch and they work fine. On fw 9.2 and sxos 2.9.4 beta

Yeah, I figured there was something wrong with my SD card reader. Lucky for me it was only badly connected to the mother board (AKA badly assembled). I FUCKING HATE THE SPONGE that was glued to the connector of SD card reader tho. I thought I broke the reader because of that

You have to download them illegally online but afterwards, you can install them. Of course, you have to make sure your console is unpatched or if it is a patched unit, that it is running firmware 4.1 or less. By the way, jailbreak is an iOS term so it does not really apply to Nintendo Switch hacking.

Not to sure how this is done but I believe I read there is a way to transfer pc save games to the switch version of the game. Either I read that or it was just about pc mods on switch. So far searching not finding if it’s possible.

Hello experts!
I want to patch(=install cfw) my nx now and I have a question about that.

What I want by patching my nx is...
-save editing to my pokemon cartridge and play online
-install hacked games on emmuMMC and play them (without online play)

I will install incognito in my emmuMMC, so installing hacked games and playing them on emmuMMC without online will be safe (almost less probability to get banned). But by installing incognito, I can't play my cartridge with online on my emmuMMC.

Surely, I can play cartridge game online on sysnand, but in that case I can't do save editing to my cartridge because I know installing cfw on sysnand +editing save files +playing online is too risky to get banned.

I come up with solutions and this is what I thought
1. prepare 2 sd cards
2. one is patched one installed cfw/emmu and has clean sysnand and the other one is patched one installed cfw/sys.
3. when I want to play hacked game, use cfw/emmu sd card
4. when I want to play save-modified cartridge with online playing, use cfw/sys sd card to edit my save file (with applying 90dns and airplane mode) -> use cfw/emmu sd card and play online on clean sysnand (=ofw)

Is my solution possible to prevent to get banned (or less probability to get baned)?
If my solution is risky, what should I do in this situation? (what is the better solution?)
