So in the past, it was possible to go online and still preserve your fuses, by booting "STOCK" (OFW) in Hekate.
This seemed to be "safe", in that no one got banned for just having the wrong number of fuses.
However, according to this link:

CTCaer tries to provide a "semi-stock" alternative, BUT it seems that that's STILL CFW.
So if in the past, there were no cases of people being banned just for having the wrong number of burnt fuses, it's possible that that might change if people try to go online with "semi-stock".
@Draxzelex, is this something of interest to keep track of? I don't think I'm alone in having an interest in this use case, I think I see a few other users also being interested in this, like
