I don't know all the technical details of why but I just know I've made around 15 of those in the last day (including some mame roms with mame2003) and there's been no issue. From what I can tell the nro2nsp program makes a random title id that works as it fits the criteria of a title id that the Switch will accept. It doesn't have to be a title id of an existing game I don't think.

LOL Mortal Kombat Mythologies Sub-Zero is upside down, as in you're hanging from the wall playing upside down instead of upwords. I googled it and it's an emulator issue. When you pause the menu is the correct direction. Been years since I played it I thought maybe it was normal but it isn't.

Hey sorry @m4xx, you're clearly really good at this so I figured I'd ask you directly, since you have dynarec running so will on here, is it possible to have a Dreamcast emulation for in the near future for switch? Specifically running the Sonic adventure games? I don't know much about emulation, but I know Dreamcast requires special chipsets, I think?

I read it supposedly works on retroarch for PC (I know this doesn't mean it'll work on Switch) I get tons of garbage on screen it's unplayable (although in game menus are perfect). Just wondering if it will ever be playable, not holding my breath.

This is strange i get error code 2168-0001 and 2168-0002 when loading a rom using mupen 64 plus and the next version. I have not seen anyone else post with this error i guess its to be expected i am on firmware 4.1.0 I plan to update soon to 6.2.0 i will see if it works after i update but i doubt it.

So i just updated to 6.2.0 and now no more error codes mupen64 works now. The only issue i have now is if i load a game it works but if i try to load another game right after it fails to load and goes to the quick menu but if i load the mupen64 cores again then load a game it works. Anyways thank you m4xw for everything you have done with retroarch.

Yea that's a old bug, it was in old mupen too.
You can just close content & use history or a playlist, that will work around it.

bomberman 64 adventure loads fine now
star soldier pretty solid had a blast
nfl blitz playable
custom robo v2 boots and works fine
megaman 64 works great!

why sad? I just used latest nightly was added after that? it's really slight once game starts I didnt have counter on but it seemed pretty much full speed can you clarify?

I thought you mean it stutters the whole time.
If it runs fullspeed it might be able to handle 60 fps.

yeah just retested with counter on so it will stutter when track first load brief then once track started i see pretty solid 59.7 59.9 60 60.1 etc great game and very good work sir!

well baffling i got worse frames and there was an audio like static maybe i need to reboot the switch or something? no clue same track i had just played so it was pretty glaring did not try anything else yet not sure what games are like that
