[Release] HiyaCFW - World's FIRST Nintendo DSi CFW!

Here it is, the first DSi CFW!

Video by Alex S (with TWiLight Menu++ (previously known as DSiMenu++ and SRLoader) installed):

Video by @Apache Thunder (When RocketLauncher was planned for a release. With WarioWare Touched (DSiWare version) installed.):

(NOTE: Since hiyaCFW has been released a few days ago (as of posting this), and no official thread has been made, I decided to go and make it, despite not making the actual patches for it. :P )

With this CFW, you can run custom DSiWare, alongside region free and 3DS-exclusive DSiWare (WarioWare Touched), on your SD card, via NAND to SD redirection!
You can also run blocked flashcards (such as R4 Ultra).

FAQs

Q: Can I use a custom splash for hiyaCFW?
A: Yes you can. Place it at "sd:/hiya/" and name them "splashtop.bmp" and "splashbottom.bmp". Make sure they're actually saved as .bmp files, with the size of 256x192, with no color space info, and is 16-bit (A1 R5 G5 B5, or X1 R5 G5 B5). .gif files will also work instead of .bmp files.

Yes. And I need to create these .tia's
Any easy way to create them from folders and tickets or proper way to convert no-intro .nds files?

Next question.
No luck with SD NAND install on SD>2gb. OK.
Is it possible to create multi partition SD card? I.e. 2 GB for SD NAND and 14GB for music, videos, etc,

SD card SRLoader recommended retail games? I.e. Solatorobo is fully compatible, but slow loadings make almost impossible to play. In other hand Mario Kart DS has only bigger loading level times and it bugs not so much during play.

Did you copy over the SDNAND files to the SD card first?
If so, your stuck to using a 2GB partition, then. :(
of course i copied them, was i supposed to no over write the ones already in my SD card with the ones from the SDNAND folder?

EDIT: it's an SD related problem, I can't seem to use the erase format option, meaning that unless I find a way to force it, I'll have to format it to 2gb

EDIT 2: yep, it was an SD related problem, i cant get the workaround to function, but formating it to fat16 with a 2000mb partition and then formating it to a 2000mb fat32 partition did the trick, too bad half of my card is inaccessible

@Robz8 REALLY dumb question, besides installing DSi homebrew easily and brick risk free, what other things can i do with HiyaCFW? can i install backups in any other way? do i have to wait for that SRloader update to do that? because i would rather have it installed on my emunand.

how about a built in file browser godmode9 style?

I cant seem to get Data Management to show up. I tried entering the DSi Shop, but it askes for an update (which i assume i should avoid), and i tried to make sure some stuff are on the device (photos, game saves). Am i missing something?

the dsi shop shut down a little while ago so you will not be able to enter data management since that is what makes the option available. Also, i believe that updating your dsi to 1.4.5 is safe

Flipnote is installed, i just cant get Data Management in the System Settings to show up.

Open the DSi Shop app and wait for it to throw an error upon failing to connect to the shop. Then open system settings and you should then see data management.

Hope this helps.
