Why must there always be a catch? First the dynarec dude bails on the bountysource and now this?
Actually I was wrong... If you go into the in game options menu you can enable sound by enabling the HighPass Filter
(audio still has a very slight scratch/tick though, probably pushing the WiiU to it's limit since there's no noticeable FF effect)

It's GB emulation though, it can't be that taxing? FF effect?

Weird, sound "just works" on PC, the high pass filter is just a filter, you get no audio with the other two options?

Why so dramatic? It's not like we're removing gambatte, you can keep using that one. I only added it because it allows this (that's silver vs gold), I suspected it may not be fullspeed, if it isn't in the one you have (single game) then it won't be for dual mode.

I think I can get it to full speed lowering the audio resampler quality, I get a 30% bump on PC, I'll add an option for that.

It was somewhat unrelated. Last year a bountysource started to get Mednafen PSX a dynarec core, which would then be ported over to Wii U, a guy was working on it but bailed. But that's another topic, sorry.

We are not Nintendo, so we don't know exactly how/why/when they ban, but better to stay on the safe side and not do shady stuff, if you don't want to be banned. Hayato is one of the most knowledgeable ones here on the subject and I believe what he says.+1

A @ ATEMVEGETA:@BigOnYa, Yes ofc we don't know how Nintendo bans work, but if there are situations where a lot of people have tried safely then we can at least assume that this path is pretty much safe. To say don't try anything homebrew relative just to be safe forever is the easiest thing to say to someone. What I am trying to figure out here is with which cases and what actions got most of the people their bans for.
