The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition will be released on OCTOBER 23

Just 5 days before Super Mario Oddisey.

I think they choosed the release date poorly , becuase most people will be saving for super mario odissey, what do you guys think?

Holy fuck, Nintendo what ARE you playing at? Emblem Warriors, Skyrim, AND Odyssey all in the space of a week.
Look, I know you have some good titles, and want to get a solid library set for 2017, but you're KILLING us. AAAAAAA this is not how to release successful games.

I seriously worry for Emblem Warriors with the lineup of games around it.

the switch isn't really a new generation its a replacement for the wii u because of how bad it was selling
Yeah, you're right there. The Switch is a replacement for the Wii U. Just like the PS4 was a replacement for the PS3, and the XBox One was a replacement for the XBox 360. Companies have to keep moving forwards mango, I don't understand the point you're trying to make here.

Okay. Cool.

Already pre-ordered enough games and this pecker is still £59.99 so I'll pass.

The switch is diffrent its less power ful then the xbox one and ps4 and needs to be more powerful then them to be considered a new generation. wii u was more power ful then xbox 360 and ps3 not buy alot but it still was but in some ways not

I still don't understand the point you're trying to make, nor why you're trying to make it in a thread about Skyrim's Switch release date lol.

I'm not sure, maybe they thought that Skyirm and Mario fans don't overlap much, as these are completely different franchises, one finally crossing over to Nintendo, the other a mainstay. So they banked on choosing one or the other. I can't really fault them for that thinking, but yeah it definitely is a date that leaves a little to be desired.

IMO Bethesda should've released DOOM(4) for Switch before anything else. It's recent, everybody loves it, and it hasn't been re-released a million times already. I'll be passing on Skyrim for Switch unless I can find a really cheap used copy at some point.

I thought it wasn't the "Special edition" according to "experts"?"

I don't like FPS/shooter games though :creep:

People sure are party poopers

Nah, people recognized it as the SE as soon as the Switch presentation trailer came out. The density of environmental objects was a dead giveaway.

You should see the morons on YouTube state otherwise. The portability factor is the main selling point here, though, that's the reason. You can't run the same game on laptop unless it's a mid-range to high end one, anything else will have a POS IGP.

Marketing wise this was a bad decision. But i literally just picked up the PS3 version a few weeks back and now i find out the Switch version will be out in October.

Aww man...Looks like i will enjoy the game on PS3 first and then in a few years when the switch version falls in price i will then pick that version up too. (i only want it because of that Link gearB-))
