What's wrong with linear audio interpolation? It's what I've been using on my emulators lately.

Because it's not how the hardware is intended to sound like, if accuracy is the aim of the emulators, Gaussian is what the PSX used, N64 I'm not sure what RSP uses, it's weird. Even CEN64 uses proper interpolation for audio, as does Mednafen PSX (which also focuses on accuracy); emulators should sound like the proper hardware, not raspy and ear-bleeding.

How do I save different controller inputs for each emulator? When i go from SNES, GBA, NES, Genesis they all share sane settings, do I have to remap every time I go to a different system?

Ok start retroarch and then load a rom for the core you want to edit the controls for. Once the game starts press the home button on the WiiU pad and goto quick menu then controls edit the controls to how you want them then select save core remap file to change the controls for that core. If you want to have custom controls for just one game instead of selecting save core remap file select save game remap file instead

I give up. No matter what I do on my Wii U (Haxchi Coldboot installed and everything) I cannot load mGBA or RetroArch at all. I always get Exception DSI followed by a stack/PC dump. There are many programs I cannot run on my homebrew and I don't get why. When I load loadiine for instance I just get a black screen. Help?

he cant even launch loadiine so its not retroarch normal memory leaks lol

Well, might as well be honest and say I had a DSi error the other day in RA 1.5.1 changing from Snes9x to Genesis Plus, so I haven't used it since. 1.6.0 doesn't add anything to the table functionality wise, so I'll stick to 1.5.1. Maybe I need a new SD card (despite this one being five months old).

Exactly, 90% of DSI Exception, are faulty/Chinese SD card.

How do we know if the card is good before spending money on one? I have a 32 GB Sandisk card, for what, about five-six months or so. Isn't 90% bit of a stretch? And how do we know we aren't getting screwed when we get a card?

Ebay and online sellers with Cheap Prices on SD cards, are mostly always clones.

If the price is too good for an SD card, its a clone.

Faulty SD Card.
Are you sure? My SD card is definitely genuine, just a little bit old (nearly 2 years), and I can load different homebrew no problem, installed nearly 300 gigs of games onto HDD... it's just the Retroarch 1.6 that crashes with DSI exception in like 95% times I try to load any game...

Not necessary all, but most of them are fake, [haven't see the link you posted], prices like $10 for a 64gb, that doesn't make sense. you just gotta know prices of SD Card and avoid fishy sellers.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Again, NOT ALL DSI errors are faulty SD cards, but most of them are, if yours only happens while on retroarch, then its not your SD.

And yet those Extreme/Luxar, etc cards seems like the real rip off, prices are too high. *Sigh* How do we know we're getting a good card on Amazon though? How can we prevent these DSI exceptions? We can't.

Mine only happens on RetroArch, nothing else.
