Yep good luck with that. The wiiu can't even run PSX games at a decent speed and your looking for the far more advanced Dreamcast to work perfectly lol.
Because we need a PPC Dynarec Core..
(No donations recently, we stayed at $250)

I was just saying it is open source. Lol since u said he wouldn't wanna share it. It's there open for anyone to see lol

Fair enough, still, it's on the repository for anyone to use, but I'm sure the Switch will be discontinued long before anyone gets PSX full speed working on Wii U :creep:

And PSX emulation will probably be full speed on the Switch as well because it's more powerful and portable so there'll be a lot more interest.

He's clearly means the later lol a few wiiu devs have said it would take a minimum of about 6 months working on it every day to get a psx emu working near perfectly on wiiu. Somehow I don't see a dev putting that much effort into something for a hugely unsuccessful dead console lol.

Let's be honest thoughere. If someone really wanted to do it. It would be done. Has nothing to do with time. It has to do with noone wants to, or if someone is, noone wants to say they are, as we saw how people got at the Wiis wiisxr and wii64 team.

No, I'm saying there won't be anything like PSX or Dreamcast for the Wii U even when the Switch is discontinued.

The Wii U is plenty powerful for PSX and PSP, even DS, but no one is interested, nor will there be any interest. I stared a bounty in hopes of seeing interest, but I may have to just tell everyone to get a refund.

I didn't say that, it's just I don't know who will be interested and who won't be, and it's hard to tell. I just don't want the Switch to be another Wii U situation where there's little interest.

well its the next step up from psp and vita as a nice portable emulation machine(when they are possible) so I feel it will have decent intrest, look at the intrest already with what those folks have already acomplished on the switch in only 4 months, how they managed to dump games already, just wow

I vote "I wouldn't use the software anyway, so I honestly probably wouldn't donate... well maybe a few dollars just to continue to encourage the emu scene"

Man, if Wii U is capable of emulating the same shit as Switch then why not work on it.
Homebrew is a hobby, you do it because it's fun not to get paid.
If you want to get paid, work as a code debugger in a big company.

It's not fun if you force yourself and so devs see Wii U and be like "eh fuck that shit" and instantly drop it without trying.
