So I'm screwed

You "should" be able to still download it from the DSi Store if I'm not mistaken from the list of downloaded titles. No idea if that works though as I still have Flipnote and DSi Browser installed

Last I checked I couldn't redownload things from DSi Shop while it was open.
edit: like I copied dsi browser to my sd and went in the shop, it didn't show in download history or anything. Even after redownloading it.
edit2: after removing the sd card of course.

I only have Zelda Four Swords and Fieldrunners that I transfered from my dsi to my 3ds while back.

So YUP,
I only have the browser and flipnote which neither of them are exploited especially the opera webkits.

i think flipnote studio or the web browser might be the candidates for this hack, because robz8 said something interesting on page 8 about being fine even if you only have flipnotte studio and browser

I mainly plan to use it for homebrew/emulators, more people having access to dsihax will increase the emus/homebrews using the extra ram/cpu. Cant wait to try. For DS roms, well it is good but my dsi xl is doing a good job with a dstwo.

So what is your aim? Will you be using it mainly for playing DS roms or ds/dsi homebrews?

-Probably not the best thing many like but tbh I just want to get my M3i Zero working again. It's the old version which stopped working with 1.4.2. Also maybe and hopefully some system mods in the future

Do you have an exploited DSiWare app installed? If so you can downgrade your DS cart White list. You first have to get fwtool 1.6 and dump your nand, get the keys needed to decrypt it (FWTool can dump nand CID, consoleID can be retrieved by exporting a game to SD from Data Management and using dsi_srl_extractor on it. (that can be found in the DSi Downgrade thread)

You would then decrypt the nand, replce the SRL in the TWLN partition (via some file manager like WinImage or by mounting it via osfmount or some other virtual device mounter. Linux has native tools for this too) re-encrypt and then flash it back using fwtool.

Also if you go through the trouble of downgrading your system from 1.4.2 to 1.4, you can then use modified DS Cart White list which would allow you to white list flashcarts that use custom icons and what not. This may not allow booting really old carts that use bad arm7 ram/code entry addresses, but some carts like AceKard 2i on older internal fw to work.

That's the problem. I don't have an exploited game installed. I had 4SwordsHax installed once but then I transferred it to my 3DS. That's why I'm waiting on the new hax now to downgrade the DS Card Whitelist. Thanks for the advice though

It's confirmed to be a preinstalled app so it can't be one of those methods
