Looks nice. I look forward to see what's gonna come from this project. However on my N3DS both cia and 3dsx version just hangs after couple of seconds. (11.2 firmware if you ask)

arm9loaderhax is safe, and it's become sort of a meme that anyone with at least high school education can complete it. (which is kinda like a joke, because plailect himself hasnt finished high school yet and yet he is the one who wrote it). you'd have to fuck it up intentionally to brick your system.Dont want to brick my 3ds while installing and it seems a bit too much work for just installing one theme
Edit: What i meant was that i dont want to brick my 3ds while installing this A9HL stuff.
Last few days??? XD Try the last few MONTHS.
This is Themely, a theme manager I've been working on in the last few days. Since the developer of CHMM left the 3DS Homebrew scene, I've felt that there was a need for a new theme manager.
This is the first release, so it's quite barebones.
Features:
- ZIP support (ignores invalid ZIPs)
- BGM preview support (CHMM is usually hit or miss with this one)
- Instant theme preview
- Self updater
Planned features:
- Shuffling
- Theme downloader
Known bugs (need help):
- 11.4 HBL support(I need help setting up system fonts to replace sftdlib)I dunno why this occurs, most likely the payload's fault
- Quitting the app goes to the home screen instead of the shutdown screen (this is needed for the theme cache to refresh)
Thanks to:
- People at Nintendo Homebrew discord #dev channel
- DevkitPro contributors
- ctrulib contributors
- xerpi for sf2dlib and sftdlib
- Everyone who helped making 3DS Homebrew development better for everyone
More coming soon.

Very descriptive error right there. Thanks, 3DS.
UPDATE: I can't do anything at all without it crashing. Even just leaving it alone makes it crash. Happens with both the CIA and 3DSX. In this case, CHMM2 looks good and works perfectly. Old3DS powered by Luma if you're wondering.
HOME Menu Theme Manager or in the Themes folder?Known issue, how many themes do you have installed?
??? CHMM2 loads fine, and Themely just loads the Theme menu after scanning for themes and then crashes. That's why it is crashing
CHMM and Themely load the theme menu differently, a ton of themes crashes Themely??? CHMM2 loads fine, and Themely just loads the Theme menu after scanning for themes and then crashes.
Hopefully @erman1337 can fix that. Until then, I'll be using CHMM2.CHMM and Themely load the theme menu differently, a ton of themes crashes Themely
Customization purposes! I like to customize my 3DS a LOT.Works perfect here. Great app. Cia version with just a handful of themes. Why the hell you need 50+ themes?
Im not sure how is it working perfectly for you because it does have bugs and issues. Like the whole official theme menu on the system were it install whatever management and kills the bgm of the costume theme because it uninstalls it which becomes more apperent when you restart the systemWorks perfect here. Great app. Cia version with just a handful of themes. Why the hell you need 50+ themes?
Because i got bored easily and bcs there are so many other good themes out there that i want it on my 3dsWhy the hell you need 50+ themes?
Already got a fix for that, it will be in the next update (hopefully today)!only thing to note is that the instant install doesn't work, i need to power off/on my console to have the new theme
What about the way the theme is installed that effects the official themes? Ex.Already got a fix for that, it will be in the next update (hopefully today)!
I'll look into fixing that too. What about the way the theme is installed that effects the official themes? Ex.
Install theme with themely > refresh system > go to official theme option >It starts rebuilding something > custom theme loses audio and gets borked after a refresh.
Which wasn't present with chmm2 where you could still check your official themes and nothing happens or anything gets rebuild after installing a costum theme.
