Does anyone have a Splatoon checkpoint cheat code? Finally got around to playing the game (single player campaign) and stuck at the last boss. While it shouldn't be that difficult, it is kind of annoying getting to the last (or second to last) round only to die and have to go through all that again.

I tried the typical "lives" searches of 3, 2, 1 and 2, 1, 0 but haven't found anything. Not sure if I am looking in the wrong range or if they are storing it differently.

So thought I'd ask if anyone has a code or had found one in the past and knew what to search for.

EDIT: I was able to find it but it is not a static address and I haven't really done anything with pointers. It will be the typical 3, 2, 1 but it does not refresh on screen when you poke the correct address. For me, the address was 1FFC9FE4 so I suspect it will be in that general area. I poked it as high as "A" and that seemed to work. You might be able to go higher but the value will always reset to 3 when you hit the next checkpoint.

Just thought that since I could find the address I'd add a bit more in case anyone else was interested in looking for it or wanted to make a proper code by figuring out the pointer or go even further to find the function that updates the address and just NOP it out.

the tcp socket code causes the game to freeze :/
i've requested a feature to load cheats of SD without the socket code being active but no one has made it yet. i can ask bully again.
the only way to create codes for such games is using the web-based tcpgecko installer. but it probably causes memory shifts
You could use Cheat Engine to find codes. JGekcoU can dump RAM from the game using the elf version. Although that has been a while ago before the new version was released.
@jbuck1975
Wasn't the 3D world code release quite some time ago? I think I remember seeing it somewhere.

When I run TCPGecko.elf from homebrew channel then start game. The Wonderful 101 freezes. So I can't dump anything from jgecko u.

Oh, didn't know about that game, so I couldn't say. I did tried it on SM3DW it worked, however that was quite some time ago.

Code:
Unlimited lives [Onion_Knight]
378D7E04 0000FFFF
378D6A38 0000FFFF

Set Timer to 999 [Onion_Knight]
378D6AD4 0000FFFF

Secondary Item Slot Modifier [Onion_Knight]
378D6B9C 0000000X

Set Timer to 999 [jurai]
378D6AD4 0000FFFF

Secondary Item Slot Modifier [jurai]
378D6B9C 000000XX

01 = Mushroom
02 = Cat
03 = Fire Flower
04 = Tanooki
05 = Boomerang
06 = Golden Leaf
07 = Lucky Bell

Green Stars [merlin555]
378D6B04 XXXXXXXX

00000007 = all 3 green Stars
00000001 = only 1. Star
00000002 = only 2. Star
00000006 = 2. & 3. Star
00000004 = only 3. Star
00000003 = 1. & 2. Star
0000001F = all 5 green stars

*Notes:
Go in the Level and POKE the address with your value of choice.
You see first no effect.
First you pick a green Star, that not yet is green.
Thats it!
However may not work on Save 2 or 3. These codes were hacked before.
Here an idea, why don't you try to hack the cherry power ups, perhaps infinite clone on every level? Just an idea and have not seen that code anywhere.
Not trying to be rude or anything, but there is no point in reinventing the wheel so to speak, however you should go ahead and find the codes for other save slots.
Edit:
Found the source of the codes, it is listed on the very first page of this thread.

I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel. I'm trying to learn how to find codes and such.

BTW If you have a 1st save. 2nd save isn't hard to find to codes. You just have to find 1 code in the 2nd save then convert all the other codes over by using math.

Okay, I suppose this game is a great way to get started and learning how to find codes, by checking the pre-existing code. When I first started back in the gameshark pro era, I was adventurous and didn't have pre-existing codes for a game and successfully found one.

Yes, by math you could do that, this also works for porting over codes from one version to another. By doing the math is how I was able to find my existing MK8 codes when memory shifting was a thing.
However since you are learning, you are essentially cheating yourself of educating yourself of finding other codes against pre-existing one. I thought you mention learning to find codes right? Math is good for speedy code porting.
I do get where you are going with this, but perhaps you should find a code that doesn't exist yet.

I did find codes that didn't exist for me. Then I will find codes for 2nd and 3rd saves

Mario Kart Wii PAL v4.1 Disc:
Code:
00020000 2F748660
XXXXXXXX 00000000
*XXXXXXXX is a 32-bit value. Use 100,000 or above at your own risk.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Select "Online - One Player" in the main menu.
2) Select "Regional"
3) Send the code
4) Press B
5) Go back into Regional. Your VR should have changed.
6) Play a regional race. In the list of players, notice how the VR hasn't changed in that screen.
7) After the race, leave the room.
8) Press B.
9) Close Mario Kart 8.
10) Turn off the Wii U.
11) Turn the Wii U back on.
12) Load Mario Kart 8 WITHOUT LOADING THE EXPLOIT. Just load it normally.
13) Your new VR should be working fine (unless you do something stupid).
If you don't follow these instructions and complain because your save data was corrupted, I don't care. It's your fault and I will ignore you.
I'm sure somebody will not follow the instructions. What can you do, really:glare:

This is intended for use if your save data is corrupted (like what happened to me when I made a faulty version of this code) to get your VR back. Please do not use this to max out! I don't mind if you use this to decrease your VR (although, why anybody would want to do that is beyond me).

Now to make a coin code for my corrupted save data to get my karts/wheels/gliders back!
