just gave that a try and indeed f-zero with msu-1 patch sure works well enough in the current mainline snes9x, pretty cool stuff. It does work with libfat build of snes9x. I'm enjoying fzero with msu1 now.
Edit: I'm using the latest nightly

Uhhh...did you try it ? It's working fine for me.So MSU-1 in Snes9x main is now a thing?
Damn, if only the little thing was compatible with BS Zelda.
I might give it a try with ALttP Redux just for shits and jiggles though
Which one?Uhhh...did you try it ? It's working fine for me.
nah, not yet mate. Hopefully soon thoughI haven't updated for a few versions, is multiplayer working already for some of the emulators? (I don't want to update every day since there are always compiles which aren't working.)
I don't want to sound ungrateful, it would just be very cool to play the 4player version of Turtles in Time for Christmas.
Thanks for the info!nah, not yet mate. Hopefully soon though

BS Zelda (NES Remake) or ALttP Redux?

What would need to be implemented or fixed in the code to add multiplayer? Wouldn't it just be binding inputs from GC/wiimote to retroarch inputs?to quote @aliaspider from IRC you want multiplayer .. feel free to make a PR
It also needs XMB menu too...More controller support rotate screen and covers are all I'd say it needs, other than any other technical bug fixes and stuff that is.

>"unreasonable"I'm pretty sure they meant mp like over network or Internet. The other controllers will come most likely at some point.
I'm talking normal stuff, and you go and talk like a jerk. Nice. Not one thing I had was unreasonable.....especially since all are normal retroarch stuff and functions. Acting like I am asking for something crazy. Wii motes and pro controllers would be nice. The options for rotate screen and thumbnails look in there just nothing implemented for the WiiU versions so it would nice for them to be useable, if not ohave well.
First of all I never said any of your points are bad. I agree with all of them.I'm talking normal stuff, and you go and talk like a jerk. Nice. Its not that simple, it needs a lot of input rework, also afaik there is no homebrews that supports other controllers than gamepad. What would need to be implemented or fixed in the code to add multiplayer? Wouldn't it just be binding inputs from GC/wiimote to retroarch inputs?
Well then I am mistaken lol. Haha.First of all I never said any of your points are bad. I agree with all of them.
Second I wasn't being a jerk I was just saying XMB would be nice to have also. And its completely possible as its on the to do list

The Wii U can of course handle it. My o3ds can handle it fine (But takes 30 seconds to load it)The reason the Wii couldn't do XMB is because it only had 64 MB, maybe even less, to work with, the Wii U has 1 GB of RAM or so, that's plenty for XMB, but it won't be for a while.
geez, my old 2ds could handle the xmb just fine (RIP) but it only took like 5 seconds to load. SD card speed maybe? The Wii U can of course handle it. My o3ds can handle it fine (But takes 30 seconds to load it)
