STOP SAYING IT DOESNT WORK (WHITESCREEN) WHEN YOUR USING NORMAL BOOT NTR
GET BOOT NTR SELECTOR
Yes a few people were having that error, Simply running as admin fixed it for all of them.About that, I use Boot NTR Selector. 3.4
The first version you released (first day), was flawless
When I came back after days and saw the update 1.1.7, I downloaded it and it gave me white screen right after I connected. I had no problems previously.
Unexpected handheld execution error (something like that) always appears.
Cannot access a disposed object.
"System.Net.Sockets.NetworkStream"
What fixed it? I'm curious.[v1.1.7]
https://github.com/initPRAGMA/CTR-V/releases/tag/1.1.7
Finally fixed the white-screen bug from 1.1.6 and also heavily improved the support for Sun/Moon.
To be able to play Sun/Moon Swiftly Online/Offline (No Reboot), Open NTR Boot Selector, Open Sun/Moon, Load your save, Press the home menu button, Wait for the 3DS to connect to Internet (Top Left), Click Connect on CTR-V.
On Mac, It does not work in Mono, but does in Wine Staging.
For some reason, the parameter input boxes don't show up so the stream can't be customised. But otherwise, it connects and starts streaming much faster than the default debugger. Good job!
Tested machine specs:
MacBook Pro 15" Late 2015 model
MacOS Sierra 10.12.1
Wine Staging 1.9.23
EDIT:
Since the config preferences are embedded in the .exe, would it be possible for me to just extract the config file, change it to include my usual parameters, then re-embed it? (Since I usually use the same parameters for streaming anyway)
EDIT 2:
Heh, found a possible workaround. I moved the .exe to my Windows machine, started a stream with the usual parameters I use, then moved the same .exe back. Since the config is embedded, it should carry over. Haven't been able to test it yet though.
Never mind, config doesn't seem to carry over for some reason.
EDIT 3:
Found the location of the config files, currently testing manual overrides as a workaround to the layout issue on MacOS.
EDIT 4:
IT WORKED! But it's kind of fiddly. Basically I've got 2 duplicates of the .exe, one will open the stream in top screen maximised, the other with dual screens. Still, this is a huge improvement over having to manually type in the commands into the original NTR Client. Thanks again!
What tricks do you have installed? I have dotnet4.5 and can run things like NTRDebugger, PKMN-NTR and PKHeX, but this one still crashes on me.Just ran it with Wine Staging on Mac. Everything worked perfectly! I noticed that NekoMichi didn't have the parameter input boxes show up, and that it was a bit finicky for him. This was not the case for me. Thanks a bunch!
Specs:
iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013)
OSX El Capitan 10.11.6 (I keep putting off updating plz dont hate me)
Wine Staging 1.9.8

This is to work with video streaming for NTR, which is only available on n3DS with CFW. NTR itself can be used on an o3DS with CFW, but not the video streaming. So yes, only n3DS with CFW.
I wasnt sending a f**** heartbeat packet xDWhat fixed it? I'm curious.
Some games like Pokemon and Zelda games will disable Online when you open the game, Which interrupts NTR. So if you send the memory patch before opening the game and then open the game then it will work fine.So does it sometimes work without the memory patch and sometimes it does?
Does the memory patch kill off the ability to go online until reboot like nitrostream?
Also how is this able to work both online and offline without the memory patch?
I'm guessing the nitrostream creator doesn't know a way to do this? Since nitrostream you have to always use the memory patch when playing offline on pokemon sun/moon..
Read the usage in the OPCan't seem to get this working... Tried streaming Pokemon Sun, which didn't work. I jumped through all the hoops I saw listed for streaming that game, but none seem to work. So when none of that worked, I tried streaming Monster Hunter Generations, also with no success. CTR-V stalls for several seconds, followed by this popup:
After that comes an unhandled exception "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". I've double-checked all the things it lists to make sure I'm doing everything I should be. Any help would be appreciated.
Read the usage in the OP
Try follow it exactly the same, again from the start after rebooting. If you can stream your home menu then the game is causing it.I probably should have clarified better, I followed the directions in the OP, and am still getting this result. Sorry for the mixup.
Are you both connected to the same WiFi network and its a n3DS?I'm not able to stream the home menu. Any time I try to connect, be it in game or on the home menu, is when I get the above error. The IP matches, and the 3ds has an internet connection as well.
Ok you seem to be running everything perfectly fine. What is the IP your trying to connect to?Yeah, N3DS connected to the same network. Downloaded again and ran as admin, same result :/
I boot the 3ds, run NTR Selector, wait for it to kick me back to the home menu, then try to connect via CTR-V. I'm running 3.4 in the NTR Selector, if that makes a difference.
Ok the IP seems correct. It is strange its not in the 192.168.1.x range not 192.168.0.x range, But it should still connect. Try this, Restart your Router if you can, Try connect your 3DS first before anyone else so that it (Should be) 192.168.1.1 and then in Fing, Click the button bottom right and rescan for the new changes. Then the ip should be 1.1, Then try connect.192.168.0.111
It's the one with Nintendo listed on the right.
Also if you have multiple 3DS's make sure you choose the right one.192.168.0.111
It's the one with Nintendo listed on the right.
