Can someone summarize in details what they modified to make games installable like this please ?
1) These are completely legitimate NUS downloads. No reason to download from google links, just get them directly off NUS. 2) The ticket is from WUD as expected, with SMALL modification: Changing the signature type from 0x030004 to 0x010004 changes the signature itself by a SINGLE BYTE. This is really pretty genius (on the hacker's part). This will only work with games that have WUD releases as of yet and it will only work with games, not DLC

I have many Wii U game discs that I would like to install to USB. Is it possible yet to rip my discs and install them? We have shitty internet in Australia so I'd rather not spend several days downloading games that I already own.

I wonder if modifying the wupinstaller to install Wuds right insinde the internal HDD directly would cause any issues , hmm.

Well it took the right mind to realize the signature changed so little
I think it's a serious security vulnerability that no one would have possibly imagined
Thanks for sharing this man! Could you do a tutorial on how to do it please? :)

Are you near sea/salt water, or in general they just don't last. Sounds like if you driving a mercedes, you need a garage. I get snow n ice here so nothing worse than clearing that shit off at 6am rushing to get to work.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Still two wire with resistor if you don't count the 7 wire pc probes cause hardware likes a good probing
