Why is mattew wii still working hard on a dead/boring console

If people didn't care or want an exploit, I'd agree with you. But people want it and are getting impatient about it because they are so eager. So I wouldn't really say it's dead, I mean I still use my modded wii and it's been modded for like 5 years.

Not sure the conversation should be going here, but cyberbullying is a real thing that people shouldn't dismiss so lightly. In fact, it can be worse on the internet than in 'real life' due to people rarely having the take responsibility for the words that they flippantly use on message boards, Twitter etc.

The basic rule of 'don't be assholes to each other' should apply as much to the internet as elsewhere.

Pretty sure this should be pinned in wii u too, it got pinned in the 3DS hacking and homebrew section because there were several issues arose from similar things in the 3DS scene.

We're all gamers at heart and that's what should matter, a little respect goes a long way.

That being said, I have said before and I though I don't condone people flipping their stack, it is mostly caused by a developer that makes the age old mistake of announcing their project (this is what publishers are for).

Hykem > Announced he would release IOSU at the beginning of December 2015, then delayed to Christmas, then delayed to February, then he disappeared.
Just Pingo > Announced Kernel Time Machine (a safe downgrader for 9.3+) back in January, then soon™, more soon™, please understand™, and then the project was canceled because people were asking him when he would release it.
