The codes for Akiba's Trip do indeed work on the american version. Also, the memory offsets seem to match the PS3 version. If you want more codes, you can check the bruteforcesavedata patch for the ps3 version, or:
Code:
Akiba's Strip: Undead & Undressed
[Head Equipment Power Up Point (Godly) 999]
00C4: E703

[Chest Equipment Power Up Point (Godly) 999]
0124: E703

[Underwear Power Up Point (Godly) 999]
0184: E703

[Weapon Power Up Point (Godly) 999]
05A4: E703

I take no credit for these codes.

Thanks for the tip, I suspected they might have been the same. I'll be adding the bruteforce cheats from JP version which also seem to work on EU/US.

has anyone trying hex editing disgaea 4, diimon cyber sleuth and disgaea 3 for vita?

What this chap said :)

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also Freedom Wars giving me the wibblies big time now. I'm going to earn more Entitlement Points in-game and then try to hex edit that value to a higher number, but thus far the gods of save modding are showing no love lol

Okay, so I've dumped my Freedom Wars save (PCSF00446), and attempted to hex edit my Entitlement Points from 254 to 999,999,999, using HxD and the little endian FFC99A3B so helpfully provided by cearp above :) only problem is, when I go to load my save, I get the dreaded corrupted message and can't play :( Any ideas? I'm happy to upload the original clean save if it helps! Thanks :)

On the same note, would making a FW save editor even be possible? Games like P4G have actual files like data0001.bin and stuff, and I've edited those fine with the awesome editor that's already up, but FW (unless I somehow dumped it wrong) only comes up with a bunch of .dat files, of which I tried to edit user_data000.dat and got the corruption warning. Obviously I'm no coding expert lol, but it does make me curious :)
Did you try changing the values in another file as well? For example, in Atelier Totori Plus the game will crash when you edit a save (in this case, money) unless you change the money value in the sdslot.bin as well. Perhaps its the same for Freedom Wars? IIRC the game displays the amount of entitlement points and years left when you first start it up, so perhaps you need to find a file containing that value?

On another note, nice job finding the values for FW. I would've been looking myself but unfortunately I can't get my confounded Vita to connect to my PS3 where my save is stored :(. If you don't mind, on what offset(s) did you find the value for EP?

if you mean those numbers are displayed when you are selecting the save? that's just text in the sfo. i don't have this game though.

Well to my eternal shame Sabishinbo, I've only ever hex edited a few tiny projects over the years, and as such my approach to the Vita FW save was pretty blunt lol. I figured I'd never get lucky enough to hit upon the right value the first time, so the extent of my attempts so far (so I didn't brick my saves and so on) was to find the hex value of my EP (FE for 254) in the user_data000.dat file and change it to the little endian value for 999,999,999, properly reversed of course (cearp did list it above, can't remember off the top of my head). Naturally it crashed lol. But I'll have a try at editing some of the other .dat files as well, and see if that stops the corrupted save demon from rearing its ugly head :) though I doubt it, I'm scarily noobish at hex editing as I'm sure you've gathered lol

You're welcome to take a look at the .dat files my Vita gave me to dump if you like; I was confused that they weren't proper .bin files from the start :)

Okay, here she is:

Thanks again, you're a champ :)
Alright, thanks. I'll take a look at it.
Side note, I actually found the little endian value myself not too long before you made your post. It's just as you said, loading it will cause the game to spit out a "This save is corrupt, would you like to overwrite it?" error. It probably has something to do with the game's checksum. I'll tinker around and see what I can find out.

*Found a clone value for money in the pt_log_data000.dat file. It's a little endian as well. Changed it to match the edited value in user_data but it still resulted in a crash. How weird.

to see if there is a checksum, just save a few minutes later, everything should be the same apart from the game play time. (plus the checksum, if there is one)

So, if FFX HD decrypted save are similar to ps3 version, we can use FFX ps3 bruteforce's address to hack the psv save?

Thanks Sabishinbo, keep up the good work and let me know how you get on :)
Spent a few hours looking for the value. Corrupt, corrupt, corrupt.

One thing I did notice, however, was two saves that I created had around five bytes on the first address that were different.
Heh, this save is as hard to crack as Oreshika, but it'll be done. I'm confident in that.
