Overwatch Graphic Novel Coming in 2017

Blizzard's most recent multiplayer success will reportedly get a graphic novel adaptation in April 2017.

In a new partnership with Dark Horse, the 100-page Overwatch graphic novel will expand on the story of the original Overwatch strike team, which was deliberately left out.

The publisher will follow up that release with The Art of Overwatch, an oversized hardcover featuring previously unseen concept art and illustrations in Summer 2017.

so this is like the new cod that all the 12 year olds play and now they are making a novel. who understands this they are plenty games that had good design, gameplay and story and people choose the repetitive first person shooter made from activision a.k.a the ones who release the yearly cod. I mean online only no wander why video games are almost dead

Okay so you think that this game is overhyped and it should not have a novel. This post was kinda hard to understand. But Activision didn't make this game. Blizzard did. I agree with this post, just needs more capitulation

I get what you're saying, as incomprehensible as that post was.... But it's not only 12 year olds playing it. It's the "gamer/cosplayer" crowd, now, too. And several streamers I like have been constantly playing it. I'd rather watch them play Diablo 2, to be honest. This game does not interest me in the slightest.

So they call comic book "graphic novel" now?

Hope the story isn't too edgy. Oh, who I kidding, it will be 100 pages about the childhood of Reaper for sure.
