I just compiled a bunch of information on the current build, based on observations of mine and other people's.

And I also made that wikia, to keep potentially important discoveries in one place. Currently it only has this article, but the idea is to keep all this data in one place, and not scattered around like it currently is.

Only issues with the program right now are that you need to start from scratch every time you want to add something new, and the remix/original tags not showing up. Other than that everything is great. Of course, improvements can be made as more is discovered, but that's for the future.
Just compile every time you make a change. The program will remember it.

The default blank slots do work and Sm4shMusic 0.4 fixes the remix/original issue. People just have to re-enter the song's information again by deleting sound.msbt and the ui_sound_db.bin from the data folders.

Anybody? My workspace folder is 0.97 GB, with the content, data, and data(us_en) folders in it. I pointed Sm4shExplorer to my update dump, built mods, and got the freeze. I then put the code, content, and meta folders from the update into my game dump, did the same thing, and got the freeze again. Not sure what's wrong, as most people have things working fine, apparently.
A freeze means resource not found, or memory corruption, basically a resource offset/size not right in the resource files.
Make sure your patch in the SD and your source game is the same. Clean a clean patch folder on your SD (lots of people tend to forget that) and then copy the export mods.
As for why it freezes, if it has almost a gig of mods, it can be anything. It's really hard to comment on what's going wrong in this case.

The problems I see convinced me to work on a feature to send a mod to a SD, making sure that it's all copied properly. I really think that most of the crashes are due to people not resetting their patch folder properly, could be wrong though.

When attempting to add music to the vs results list, the program threw me an error.
Code:
See the end of this message for details on invoking
It seemed to add the music just fine, but I still need to test it in game.[/QUOTE]
Thanks! Will make sure to fix it.

Also someone came to me which a description of the xml load problem, Ill work on it, sorry for that ><

How exactly do I go about using the updated version of Sm4shExplorer? I've been using 0.04 without incident, but I can't quite figure out how to use .06 as the download doesn't seem to have an executable in it or anything.

Thank you for this, however:
- Blank do work, but you need to read what the different properties do and change them, version 0.4 does that for you. Properties are important and should be understood before spending hours modding your musics.

- Remix/Original bug is fixed in 0.4, but you need a "clean" msbt to work with.

I have a feature request.
When you click the button to delete a song from a stage in my music, you should add a cancel button to not delete anything in the confirmation box that asks if you want to delete the song from the corresponding my music/sound db entry just in case you accidentally click the delete button.
I've hit the delete button a few times already when I go to hit the stop button or the button to move the song up the list and it's annoying to have to re-add the song afterwards.

Has it been tested on the JP version?
Nope, I don't know anyone with a JPN Wii U.

It was successful.
What are the properties of the sound you're trying to add? (screen of the the bgm management panel, your song selected)
Also, what version of sm4shexplorer / sm4shmusic are you using? old version has region eur/us and region jap labels swapped

So for some reason, Fourside (which was supposed to go to Onett) landed on Battlefield, alongside other songs. And the software says it should be on Onett. Confused.
