I just have a doubt... this amiibo we are writing in a NFC tag works like a real amiibo? so.. you know... increase the level of our character in games ( Smash for example ) . reset data if we want to use the amiibo in another game...
is it possible?

it should work just like a normal amiibo.

also, just to note, you dont need an exploited wii u to do this. a couple people asked.

The problem now is finding 215 tags xp ... I can only find 216 or below 215 I think I will have to import it anyway XD

kinda disappointed, was hoping the video would be someone's homemade amiibo cards, not just some NFC tags, great guide though

This is how you make amiibo cards. the hard part is writing to the tag itself, then you're free to stick them on a card. try looking at the thread called CompC's amiibo cards - you will find pictures there.

I'm curious as to why this sort of piracy is permitted to be discussed on this forum but referencing pirating game software is not. 12USD is not an outrageous price when normal licensed figurines usually cost 50+ USD and have no NFC support. Piracy is Piracy and it states in the rules "We do not condone Piracy in any way". I hate to be "that guy", bu I'm just saying...

if amiibos where that cheap here, maybe I would like to do this just for practicality, because going out with a deck is far easier than with a box of figures xD
but yeah .. amiibos here are very very overpriced xp the price I paid in 2 (greninja and pixel mario classic) I coud have bougth at least 8 there :B

Will NTAG216 work? Or does it need to be NTAG215?

Amazon seems to have everything but lol

Just finished some of my cards. They could use some work still. But I don't think it turned out too bad for the first one.

I put the NFC chip inside the card behind the circle :)
