All regions now supported!

If you appreciate this guide and the work I put into maintaining it, I accept donations through both Bitcoin and PayPal.

If you felt like the guide helped you out then I'd really appreciate it! If I get enough I may buy a 2DS for testing hardware stuff so I don't break another N3DS.

If the guide didn't help you out then I'm really sorry about that :(

Thank you very much for this guide, I intend to use it in the future.

I have a question about running the exploit on 2.1. Is the Spider exploit fairly reliable for 2.1 or would you recommend purchasing a copy of Cubic Ninja?

I've never seen the spider exploit fail.

I just want to be clear on this: Is it recommended to do all of this on a freshly formatted 3DS on 9.2 or can you keep all your modifications such as menuhax, CFW, emunand partition etc. and not cause any conflicts?

Possibly. There was speculation in the IRC channel of either fixing Decrypt9 or modifying it to run without displaying anything and just automatically restore a NAND backup but that was deemed risky.

Obviously much too risky. However, you can still make an "auto-restore NAND backup" without UI, and then require a "secret" sequence of keys before it will execute. You could even flash the LEDs to provide status?

Code:
Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start

@Plailect Got any info on how to do this step
  1. Press (B) then go to "XORpad Generator Options" once more. Follow the options to dump "CTRNAND Padgen 0x4" tonand.fat16.xorpad (you cannot change the file name)
I dont see CTRNAND Padgen 0x4 as an option.

Also the tut talks like both nand and xorpads will end up in the decrpyt9wip folder but in actuality they end up on the root of the SD

The folder in 3ds folder is Decrypt9WIP on my SDRoot is a folder too with the Nand.bin files
That doesn't happen for me nand.fat16.xorpad just ends up on the root of my SD but thats beyond the problem I still cant figure out how to dump "CTRNAND Padgen 0x4" tonand.fat16.xorpad

The 0x4 xorpad should show as long as you are on a new 3DS using Decrypt9. It's directly under "CTRNAND Padgen"
