All our stuff is targeted to be as high of a firmware as possible (which at this moment is 5.4.0), Hykem's just on a lower version for the moment because there is proven stuff on that version that he's using to get info for the latest versions.

I'm hoping that you'll keep the lower versions supported as well, especially with Hykem saying he's back-porting to 2.x.x on the previous page (and 3.x.x aleady done) in particular in case an emuNAND becomes possible, or a way to (relatively safely) downgrade is found in case that's needed for the IOSU exploit (which likely is needed to have low-level access to the SD card for EmuNAND)?

I really really really doubt that is possible. For so many reasons.

Best option is to get a capture card install for your 3ds and play on the monitor. Didn't get better then that. But that still has lag, which sucks. And ugly resolution. And wired play.

Just play on an XL.

Yeah, go get a $250 capture card........
I also would like to do 3DS footage stuff, $250 for a capture card is way too much, and hopefully it's possible to show 3DS screens to TV and capture that with like a $10 capture card.

Well, good luck waiting for a 10$ capture card. I seriously doubt that happening though. Maybe a few more years down the line lol.

The closest we've seen the 3ds being used on the wiiU is as a controller in smash bros. And that is extremely minimal. No way well see 3ds streaming on a wiiU.

If you want to capture 3ds gameplay, wait for a stable 3ds emulator. Otherwise look at a capture card.

Right now, 3ds footage at a good quality is for only the serious youtubers/streamers in the game, and it will stay that way for awhile.

Sure seemed like a long window of available "exploitable" firmware. A real shame that nothing happened before the new firmware came out. Feel sorry for the guys who are still on 5.1. Good luck to the dudes making this exploit, but, yall gotta work on timing.

no offense Mario, you're a cool guy, but we've been hearing this same CRAP over and over again for the past 2 years. I'm honestly surprised anyone here even gives a crap about this console anymore.

Several pages back, I posted a video of 5.3.2 code execution.

We've just gotten CPU1 code execution, meaning we'll be able to run shellcode soon, and after we integrate it with the build system, why wouldn't we release immediately?

Uh, Ninja_Carver is clearly smarter than a 9 year-old idiot, as you should be able to see based on his past work with Trinux. I don't exactly like seeing people not believe our announcements, but I honestly can't blame him either. That being said, we just got shellcode execution, so getting findcode working and integrating with libwiiu is our last hurdle to release.

You took months to get the WebKit exploit working, and then, in a bit more than a week, you got shellcode execution.
That's great.

PS : By shellcode, do you mean shellcode in kernel mode, or in userland with the kernel exploit released after?

Out of curiosity, your last post you said you are trying to get shellcode execution. Now you said you just got shellcode execution. Are you working in real time now? jack Bauer style?

I don't blame ya in the slightest anyway.

Mainly because blind debugging and tracing a malformed stack frame , can break everything. That takes a lot of passion and dedication (and wasted hours). End users don't see this, they just ask for free stuff.

BigOnYa @ BigOnYa: I played the intro to far cry 5, that is like some crazy Jim Jones cult shit. Still its petty...
