Ok, 1.2 works for me as well. Funny thing, that 1.2 works, but not 1.3...

if you installed blargSNEs as .cia try to launch from BigBlueMenu, it worked for me

why don't you install the .cia version? it has sound support...

I have done some heavy testing with BlargSnes the last few days. All testing has been made on my N3DS XL 9.2, Ninjhax v. 1.1b and Shadowtrance haxxed .3DSX sound version.. Overall I have to say that the emulation is VERY NICE, often PERFECT! Almost all games that boots and goes ingame has very smooth emulation with very few graphical glitches and very few speed slowdowns.. StapleButter and DiscoStewSM has done a splendid work!!!

I have grouped the ROMs in 4 different categories. With the total number of ROMs from my testings:
Near Perfect (117 ROMs)
Playable but with heavy glitches or slowdowns (16 ROMs)
ROM Boot but doesnt go ingame (30 ROMs)
Dont show any sign of life. Dont boot at all (27 ROMs)

From this statistics we can read that of the games that are working and goes ingame, 90 % are near perfect! =) So if we manage to get the other games to boot up we should expect around 90 % of those games to be near perfect as well =)

Around 30 % dont go ingame.That is becuz of the SPC errors i guess?


Would it help if I write down more detailed results? Like this:

The games Exhaust heat, Mario super Picross, Twisted tales of spike mcfang, Sky Blazer, Super Bomberman and Spriggan Powered boot but dont start and the message
!! SPC CONFIG F0=00
shows

Or


Markos magic football (E) crashes the emulator sometimes. And sometimes gives error code like PC:00:89EC... etc. etc. etc. Full RAM dump can be found on SD. Tell StapleButter!

Great work on the testing, what would really help is if you fill in all your details on the compatibility wiki, linked in the first post.

1. Unirally/Uniracers WORKS! You need a [F] rom for it to go ingame. But it is a little slow, as everyone expected
2. Has anyone gotten Seiken Densetsu 3 to get past the Music test menu? I would really like to try that game out! Terranigma feels like a PS1 game, I guess Seiken Densetsu 3 should feel the same =)

Nope sd3 stucks in the test menu (it shouldn't appear at boot lol)
Terranigma works fine for me. A bit slow though.

Yeah, Terraniga is a bit slow... but seems to work 100%.

I have tried around 150 SNES games on that sound n3ds build. Guess what? 90 % OF THE GAMES BOOT!!!

But there are still some games that don't have audio. Or have other problems. But overall I would say 75-80 % plays near perfect That's Huge!

And most games which doesn't boot is probably "just" because of a timing issue with the SPC (sound). If this problem is sorted one day, I bet 90% of the game will work fine.

Well so I just tried the Link to the Past DX hack, and it does boot with blargSNES 1.3
However, after loading my save file, I get a black screen.

Most of those are special chip games...

Donkey Kong Country 3 - isn't, guess it just doesn't want to load, maybe try a different copy.

So i guess you'll have to wait until the enhancement chip support is added.

If you exclude this one, I don't think there are any.

Only other one i'm aware of is the port of retroarch, but that's basically still pre-alpha level. Most(all?) games don't load at all on it, last I checked.

Hey anyone can help me i just create a folder in the root of my sd (iam a CFW User) and
The emu did'nt show me the rooms, i use the HBL version 1.3
Like SNES or snes and i try with a Roms folder
I test another emu and that path work fine
Any can help me?

DKC 2 Works !!! You just have to boot it A LOT. You just boot the game wait 5 seconds and if it doesn't start just try it again. I played trough the whole game and there was only one level (glimmer's galleon) that required sofware render. some levels are a bit laggy but definitely playable. I'm using blargsnes 1.3 cia version for those who want to know.

Yeah I've found that Killer Instinct is kinda like that, doesn't matter what region. Sometimes it will boot first go, other times i just get a black screen and have to try again, and again and again until it boots. haha
Maybe blargsnes doesn't like the HiROM type games much at the moment? I dunno, just an idea seeing as it doesn't seem to do it with any LoROM games I've tried.

Oh that's definitely an interesting finding! I thought the game didn't want to work because of spc timing.
