Sure you can but team Gateway doesn't recommend it. Neither does anyone here.
There's always the possibility of bricking your system.
I know it's possible to break the emunand by installing wrong themes so I would never install anything on my sysnand.

Unless you have a hardware backup mod. Then disregard what I said and go for it.
