I laughed but in in my head I'm still kinda "wut." Probably would've laughed more if I kept up better with pop culture.
Incidentally, most simulators (in the past, though the demographics have been shifting lately, much to the chagrin of long-time users of established simulators) are intended to emulate/expose people to an experience that would usually be very dangerous or costly to let an inexperienced person attempt. Note that simulators should not be used in place of professional training, but rather just as an espository type of experience for beginners or as the next best thing for hobbyists. In this context, Sims should not be confused with that other franchise of a similar name.
