If the original wii games come off the net, into the Mac, do you transfer the whole file? Part of it? Does it need to remain compressed? And can anyone recommend the easiest program to use on a mac to get the games to open in wii flow which is installed on the wiiu homebrew channel.

Do not post where you get your games from. You will be banned if you do. I recommend you rip your own games with CleanRip.

The game must be in wbfs format. Use Wii Backup manager to convert it.

Place each game in wbfs format in a folder called wbfs on the root of your usb.

What do I need now then? I got the game iso...I thought the prog wiigui converts it but I guess I was wrong? Could it simply be the power issue needing a y cable? Or need to do something else?

I no longer have wbfs manager installed. I thought that's the program that formats your drive to that horrible format.

OK I AM ABOUT TO SMASH THIS COMPUTER UP. SO FRUSTRATING! THIS IS THE ISO (SEE PIC), AS YOU CAN ON MY HARD DRIVE PORTABLE DRIVE, IN WBFS FORMAT. THE HARD DRIVE IS NOT WBFS BUT FAT32. WHEN I CONNECT IT TO THE BACK OF THE WII LOAD UP EITHER WII FLOW OR LOADER GX, NOTHING IS HAPPENING AS IF NOT RECOGNISING. IS THERE SOMETHING ELSE I NEED TO DO BEFORE CONNECTING THE HARD DRIVE UP? I DONT HAVE THE GAME NUMBER (OR SOMETHING) DOES THIS MATTER?

Since your drive is FAT32 and your game is a .wbfs file but it into a folder on the root called "wbfs"
It has to be in that folder.
Also make sure (if facing the front of the Wii) that your drive is on the left port "port 0"

If you're using a WiiU, do not connect the USB drive to the system until AFTER you have gone into Wii mode.

Also, on a WiiU you want the drive plugged into the top USB port on the back. This is the opposite of which port to use on a regular Wii.
