I thought that region free rom loading was already a feature of the gateway3ds firmware via flashcart. oh, you want free rom loading without the flashcart, enjoy your wait.

wont happen, the Menu can be made Region Free, but the E-shop Title is Region Locked
so unless you replace the Entire App on the NAND, its not going to happen

It will work on whatever firmware that Gateway works on.

backing up my nand with it, it is basically Gateway without the option to load ROM, pretty soon someone will release it with all the functions. But that would be the end of gateway and they won't develop anymore. And on the other hand 3ds flashcarts won't be able to suck money out of the scene.

What Gateway should do is make their Classic mode work with retail carts, region free.

This is so awesome but don't have a 4.1-4.5 3DS.
That sucks, and nintendo really should drop that region lock bias.

No, you need the r4i or any DS flashcart to run the gateway installer. without that the loader wont work.

No. There's no way to emuNAND (change region) on 3DS without use of special-designed flash-cards

This is what this is already.....regeon free without the need for a 3ds flash card....still need a DS flash card and a 4.x 3ds though

I think some people have missed the point you can use emunand without buying a 3DS flash card

Oh see I must have missed that too.

So if i have a DSTWO and a 4.x 3DS, i can emunand as well as region free-ify that specific 3DS?
