Hi people, I'm new at this forum and I'm a costumer of R4i-SDHC flash card.
I have to say, I'm always jealows about the supercard users who can play the latest games without waiting weeks for the kernel update, and you guys saved all the R4 and other card users in becoming crazy with their flashcard xD

I've read your main post and as I am sick of my R4 Kernel I want to use your kernel as a native one (not with dual boot). My R4 cames from this site, www.r4i-sdhc.com and I have the latest kernel of their brand

So... I've downloaded your kernel and searched for hours, trying to put your kernel as the main one, without sucess...
I've formated the SDcard, copied all the files in the downloaded .rar (only the folder I needed) and even tried to change the name of the files to R4i.dat and R4Menu, always without sucess...

If anyone who knows about this business can tell me step by step as if I was a grandma, I would be greatfull ^^

Tales of Innocence JPN doesnt seem to work with the new update. I get stuck after the opening credits, it shows a black screen on the top screen and an art from the game on the lower screen and its stuck on there. I am using a clean ROM. I also tried formatting my micro sd card again with SD formatter.
Somebody else having this problem?


By the way, thanks for the updates Retro. Pokemon Black 2 works well on me.

A new Multi Cart Update is available and the front page has been updated
Please note that there have been noted original kernal changes with some of the carts, so some compatibilty may have changed. For the time being, please use the Known carts that can use YSMenu Section of the front page as a reference guide only. Please read the How to Install.txt as I have begun to add new cart compatibility here for the time being.

Also, there have been some new carts added since v6.86 and more in v6.87, so PLEASE UNDERSTAND that these following folders are in the BETA STAGE so may still have some bugs (GEi_R4i YSMenu, R4i, R4i Gold Plus, R4i SDHC YSMenu)

For anyone complaining about Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 freezing in game/saving, IT IS BECAUSE OF YOUR µSD's READ/WRITE RATE NOT PERFORMING FAST ENOUGH TO KEEP UP WITH THE GAME. EVEN WITH SOME GOOD QUALITY µSD's (CLASS2), YOU WILL SEE NOTICABLE LAG/SLOW DOWNS. NO AP PATCH OR EXTINFO/INFOLIB/SAVLIB UPDATE CAN FIX THIS.

I have just tried the original (CRC = AFA9C467) and English Patched (CRC = 186D0370) versions of 1770 and they both play the video sequence fine and load to title screen for me, if that is what you are referring to.

I hope the Wifi Connectivity for the Pokemon Games will be resolved soon. There's an event going on for B/W2.

It's fixed with the latest update, I just tested it and got Genesect

That version will not work on the R4i Gold, you need to wait till about tomorrow morning for it to be updated on the official site

It is officially supported, they just take a little longer to update their kernel.

Damn, it still gives me the same problems..... i think my card is screwed...... it cannot save games and or load them, most games just freeze and say "Cannot load data" or something similar. I have 2 of these cards and the other works fine.

The usrcheat works fine for me, so it is something you are doing wrong.
From now on Yepi69, please trouble shoot your problem before posting because I have noticed your problems are simple fixes.

The usrcheat works fine for me, so it is something you are doing wrong.
From now on Yepi69, please trouble shoot your problem before posting because I have noticed your problems are simple fixes.

also in ttmenu there's no skin
