Looking for new TV series to watch

Hello everyone,

I'm currently looking for new tv shows to watch.
I'm mostly into sci-fi and fantasy stuff, but also like superheroes-based universes, like The Boys.

There were two series I really really loved their concept, Once Upon a Time and Supernatural. Their stories revolve around stuff of our cultures (once upon a time is a story that include nearly all Disney characters, Supernatural is a story that includes mysticism and folklore from pretty much everywhere in the world). If you guys know a series like that, I'm open to look into it.

I just want to make it clear, I DO NOT START A SERIES THAT IS ALREADY FINISHED. I only watch ongoing series, so please, do not post suggestion of series that ended years ago, I will just not look for it (even if you tell me you liked it and so would I, or whatever)

You mentioned The Boys, hopefully you've watched Gen V.

Having a look what we've been watching... Castlevania Nocturne was really good, fairly short first season but if it goes on as long as the first Castlevania series it should be able to get just a great as that was. Quantum Leap (new reboot) and Upload have both been pretty enjoyable sci-fi. Of all the recent Star Trek shows, the cartoon Lower Decks is our favourite, very funny. Our Flag Means Death is just superb. Foundation is great sci-fi, based on the classic book series but modernised well. Poker face is great, especially if you like Natasha Lyonne.

it follows a different timeline and continuity, You see characters that were in the books too, different characterization of some of the characters. I think it got better on season 2.

What is wrong with starting a series that has already ended? You're excluding a lot of really great viewing so I'm going to list a couple anyway. If you're not interested, maybe someone else is.

Why do you like something more than something else? You can't explain taste, and that is how i am.
I don't like series that already ended. Or if you prefer, I like cliffhangers.

even if the story is unfinished, the show is finished.
