It doesn't really have to be, I mean I've been hit by a car 3 times now and on all three occasions it was the drivers fault (the first time was when some asshole tried to pass me and smashed into me before driving off, the second time was when the driver did not pay any attention to the red light, and the third time the driver was a bit too enamoured with the girls driving in front of me).

Still, just visit her. When i was in the hospital even my neighbour (who I hadn't spoken to in years either) came by.

She doesn't aimlessly waltz around the road. I can tell you that.
But she's not beast at traffic either. She actually really tries to be as secure as possible, but she simply can't because she's too concentrated. Don't ask me why she does this. I don't know, I'm not her.

It's most likely not her fault this time..

It sounds pretty serious.....getting hit by a truck is definitely serious.

It's what I'd like to know too.
According to the local newspaper's site her condition is critical.
The docters want to keep her in a manual coma for 2 weeks.

Honestly, I think the chances are pretty high that she will really die.


Also, it seems that she didn't get hit by a truck, but a small truck. More like some kind of delivery bus ish truck.

This is just plain wrong, her friends made a twitter hashtag (not gonna post, I don't want it to spread more)
And they made it a twitter trend, 'tt'. Now random people from all over the country are posting bullshit like
'herp I'm eating bread' #no
They're trying to get it worldwide. And with how fast this spread accross our country, I think they might manage to do just that.
I am HIGHLY against this bullshit.

I know I have been hit 12 times by various motorized vehicles, not sure about at least 3... Fuzzy memory.
There are a lot of people behind the wheel who shouldn't be. then there was in my case at least two people who were out right trying to kill me, they hit me with their car then then when I got up they came back and hit me again.

so don't be too surprised by this. I know some of them (the drivers) were just people who let their guards down and just weren't paying attention. specifically the bus driver and the two farmers. "what the heck are you doin' walkin'way out here?"
When I said cause I got hit on the main road they just gave me a weird look. (It was a school bus, you know for the kids that have detention or stay late).
for those that seem prone to this... my best advice for going as near injury free as possible is to go limp when you get hit. if and when you bounce trying to control how it happens will do you more harm than good.
It wasn't getting hit by the car that gave me the concussion it was me being disorientated and smacking my head on the road cause I was still reacting to being hit.

just like parachuting or bungee jumping relax and enjoy the free fall....

On to your friend I hope she gets better... A two week coma is okay I was in one for three months, 1 of those months was doctor induced to help the healing.

Oh and its okay to not feel for her. You were not the one in the car to hit her so why feel guilty. since you were not there you couldn't have stopped it... so... feeling distant could be a form of shock or just plain disinterest. You won't really know until she either dies or gets better.
