Why college sucks compared to a job

Hey guys, been a long time since my last blog post.

since then i past my level 2 food course, went to my level 3 interview, and didn't make the grade.

in the last 2 weeks, my life has changed, rapid job hunting ensured, and yeilded a epic result.
i has a job now, hopefully earnt about £40 for 6 hours work, while at college, i only got £30 for a week.

all i have to say is.

I'M F@@@ING RICH!!

im also going to go spend most of it tomorrow, as im going on a scout camp this friday, im departing my house at 2am :(
means im also going to be away for about 2 weeks.

see you later

That's not that impressive bro. I made $15 an hour as a construction worker. Right now after getting my education I have a $80,000 a year job that already hired me. Trust me, in the end education is worth it...

Yeah education is well worth it

work in my uni's library

i clock in 9 hours a day. 4.5$ an hour, and best of all i just sit down and don't really do anything.

along with my financial aid, and scholarship, it's kind of easy paying away the fee's

also nice to hear from you benbop :)

To be fair, it is quite good for me, being 17 and a first job, it also may be i be able to finish my last level of cooking while im doing work, and get at least £90. Losta money!

i wasn't any older than you when i started university myself and hence my work. I was 17 as well, just giving you some advice mate; been at this for 1 year, focus on your studies as well ;)

i'm in full time tertiary education (not college but w/e) and have a job :D
i only get around $12 an hour though due to my age but i get commission on top of that so it doesn't work out too bad all in all

AU$12?

Isn't minimum wage AU$16? If they are paying you AU$12, that's ilegal.

most companies work off the books

hiring under age people without proper working papers they can pretty much pay what they

apparently i'm getting a pay rise or some shit soon due to something gillard did..

College > Job.
Enjoy not being able to get the jobs you really want due to low qualifications.

Well, came back from shopping today, had a letter from college wanting me back, gonna go in on wednesday to see if they mean it.
