I've been approached by some, and have been simply asked, who the heck are you?
If you were around in 2008-2009 you would have found me just starting out officially on the site. I made my way up on another website to a high ranking staff position, and shared my reviews on GBAtemp as well. Things kind of snowballed, I started getting more confident in my own writing abilities and started getting approached by more retailers and manufacturers in the industry, and that was the prime.
I was formally suspended from site in 2011 for just making immature remarks about someone, and it was that time where I really discovered a lot of who I was. At that time, I knew I was gonna be out on the charity trips, so I figured, I needed to go out with a bang and get time off of the site. I started doing charity works and volunteering abroad in events like disaster relief. It's through those times where I realized that it's not worth losing a reputation over something so petty and small. I matured immensely and started to discover that there's more than the internet out there. I realized how truly fortunate my life is, having a nice roof over my head, and I understood then that once those were taken away, I started to appreciate things a lot more.
After I returned from my trip, I created a secondary account. You're probably more familiar with my newer account, Unagi. I decided at that point to start fresh, having matured. Few weeks ago, recent events really made me want to consider helming my main account (this one) and I submitted a request to remove my suspension. I came back about two weeks ago officially on Ryukouki, and now it's like who the heck is this guy? I figured that the only way to get over my mistake was to face it head on and retake control of my account.
So here I am, and that's my story. I've turned over a new leaf, and I want to contribute in a positive way to this website in any way that I can.
