What am I doing?

Im currently downloading pokemon white. I dont know if its the EU or usa release. The name of the file is pokemon white ENGLISH v12. I think its a Japanese translation. Could someone tell me if it is? If yes, then i'll just cancel the download since I dont want to ruin the fun by seeing some parts of the game in japaneese...

I didn't ask for the rom or rom link so I did nothing against the rules

It probably is the japanese translation. No reason to have vX in the name if not.
