This girl who I like just told me she and her boyfriend...

broke up recently.

It was weird. She goes online, thinking that I was going to have a long convo with her, it only lasted about 10-ish minutes. We were talking about random stuff then she brings up that her week was horrible and she broke up with her bf. Then she immediately had to go.

She knows I like her. We did stuff at a party a few weeks ago.

What does this mean?

Comments

It means her and her bf broke up.....nothing more....at least not by those details

It means she broke up with her boyfriend.

That's all it means!

Unless of course, you change the meaning.

Don't take it out of context. Unless she is obvious as all hell about her motives, don't try to make moves potentially ruining the friendship you already have.

You want it to mean more than it does. I know the feeling.

When you are in this type of situation, the mind has an amazing way of making you look for deeper meaning when it doesnt actually exist. I would say just go with what you think is best. Since she knows how you feel already, do you really have anything to loose by going forward? If you sprang this on her right now, it might be a different situtation but that said, dont go in straight away as it is porbably too soon. Give it a while because now that she is single, she will be more receptive so act nice to her, give her space and give her a chance to come to her own conclusion about you.
I hope this helps and makes sense and if not, well... I got no excuse.

extremely easy. she knows you like her?
then start a conversation by saying something like
"hey, you know I like you a lot, I can be here for you if you need me to" or something
it wont feel weird because you're saying things she already knows.

She wants to have sex with you dude. I don't see how you could see her as emotionally shook up or something.

Okay, okay more to the story:

A few weeks back we started talking about stuff. During this convo she pretty much tells me "I dont want to lead you on. You deserve better than that. I dont want to hurt you but since I'm not single, I cant really do anything. It's been lingering in my mind for a while but."

She's always giving me compliments blahblablahblahYOU'RESOCUTEblahblahblah and whatever.

She broke up with her bf because she didn't feel like it was an actual relationship. And she told me that she was having doubts about the relationship when we hung out one time.

And yeah, I already told her straight up that I like her and I wasn't really going to try anything until she was single.

I'm not sure if I was part of a cause of this breakup though because after she told me the I dont want to hurt you thing, I'm sure she felt bad. The break up happened not too long after too...

Yeah but im just wondering about this >__>

Just make a move, you have nothing to lose, and girls in the modern age don't stay single for long. I used to think chivalry and waiting for the emotional healing process to complete for a couple of weeks was key. Yeah, no, turns out waiting and wondering usually just ends up with the gal finding a new fella within the week.
