the memchunkhax2 hype post with .3dsx

there is more going on in the comments that this post is somewhat outdated now.
read this. it's important.
  • you cannot use this for downgrading, installing .CIAs, etc. yet. it is purely for testing.
  • when you post results, include your model, entry point, and full firmware version (e.g. 10.3.0-28E).
  • this has pretty much no risk of bricking as it doesn't write to the NAND or anything. with that in mind I am not responsible if anything weird happens so run this at your own risk.
  • if you get a test value of DEADCAFE then it has worked.
  • this might help with getting "DEADCAFE":

@ihaveamac. Ok so I updated to 9.8 after the bad downgrade using sky3ds. Should I upgrade all the way to 10.3 or wait? Thanks

you have no real benefit being on 9.8 over 10.3 at this point. 10.3 might be more stable for downgrading.

Thanks. I tried updating but my internet is so slow atm. That's why I resorted to sky3ds.

OK, I don't want to fail anything. Do I launch FBI.3dsx or memchunkhax2.3dsx? Do I place FBI.3dsx and FBI.smdh in a folder named FBI?

    99% of the time ordering online I have had flawless experiences, only time something was messed up, I ordered a big TV from Amazon and it came smashed the box was literally like some one jumped up and down on it, didn't even open it, contacted Amazon sent them pictures, they made me open it and take more pictures, free label to return it and they sent another. So it was relatively painless. But still annoying.
