Tax Refund

So my Dad decided to check for me, and it turns out i'll be getting a rather nice sum back for my first tax refund....

$1400

You know that tax refunds aren't exactly good unless the CRA makes a mistake gives you more than what your actual refund is.

I don't quite get yer meanin' stranger.
I'm confirmed to be getting about $1400. Slightly north of that actually. Like, 1420.

I think he was trying to basically say that the more you get, essentially, the less you actually earned. As far as I'm aware though, you're still young enough that you don't really need to worry about having a job that pays all of the bills plus some.
